Blue Cafe âOn The Blockâ has a very unique personal menu that is read to you while you relax in a cool retro cafe. Fresh, healthy and very delicious! Loved the sweet potato chip, sweet onion, red pepper, quinoa, spinach salad. The homemade cracker crust pepperoni pizza was perfectly crispy, amazing! We took home a piece of homemade cherry pie and it was deliciously tart, not too sweet, perfect. Will definitely be back soon! Canât wait to see whatâs on the menu next visit!
My wife and I were regulars at The Irish Pub and we were sorry to see it close. I saw that the bar was opened again as âBootleggers â and was excited to check it out. There were subtle differences in the decor from the Irish Pub days, white paint in some areas and large TVs added. The original Irish bar and atmosphere were still present. You seat yourself, and we were immediately approached by âDaisyâ our server. We ordered beers and were handed folded paper menus.I noticed the beers on display were extensive and very satisfying. The menu was full off pasta and pizza choices. We ordered a 12 inch pizza the âSiouxer Cityâ. Very good!!! The owner âDonâ came to our table a few times to check on us. He was full of information on the makings of his pizzas. Fresh made every day dough etc. there were not many customers in the establishment while we were there. The prices were very reasonable, the pizza was fantastic, the service was great. If you like pizza and beer this is a great new place in the Pearl street area of downtown Sioux City. Give it a try, you wonât be disappointed .

We wanted to check out this place as we'd heard it was good. Well, it is! We split a 14" Neapolitan Pizza with Italian (spicy) sausage and jalapeno peppers. Also each had a side salad which comes with mixed greens, choice of cheese and three veggies and dressing. I had the feta cheese, banana peppers, red onion and sun dried tomatoes with balsamic dressing....really fresh and really good! Family members had more of a Caesar take on theirs and also enjoyed it. Would recommend ordering your salad first and eating that (unless you want them together) and then ordering your pizza because the pizza was ready before we even got the salads to our table. So they are FAST!!!!! The pizza cooks in about 2 minutes if that. Really fast and really good. Thin crust and the sausage was excellent the jalapeños just the right amount of spicy but not burn your throat and choke you. More than enough for the three of us to split and still had some to take home. Service was fast but they didn't really have enough personnel to keep up with the orders and keep the dining area cleared up after patrons had left. It's a self serve, go thru the line restaurant but the patrons haven't gotten to the point where they clean up after themselves so there's lot of messes on the tables. They were crazy busy so maybe it'd be better if they weren't quite so packed. The whole meal with a beer for my husband came to $35.22 so not cheap but not bad for quality food done right.
I've traveled through and worked in Sioux City for many many years. Seldom have the chance to stay overnightTonight I had the opportunity to look for dinner with Trip Advisor, first choice was closed (oops) but found Bodega401 a block away.Outstanding pizza!!! Great service!Clean bright interior, newly re-opened but a lot of history.

Stopped in for a quick to go order. I had the small, pepperoni, sausage, and extra cheese. Hands down one of the best pizzas I've ever had. Sauce is on point as is the rest of the ingredients. If I'm ever back in Sioux City again, I'll be sure and stop in.

Service was terrible. Could hardly get the bar tenders attention. Finally, I was able to order 10 chicken wings. I ordered them extra crispy. They came out sloppy and soft. I sent them back. They came back sloppy and soft again. Who is running this kitchen? I will never go ever again.

Pick up or dine in only. They have a special almost every day of the week. Call ahead, they get super busy. We love the jumbo combination, plenty of great toppings and their sauce is awesome. Used to be a comedy club, currently does not offer any entertainment. You order your pizza at the window, go select a table then they call your number for you to pick up. Drinks, etc. are mostly self serve, but it is worth a stop.
I just ordered a hot and ready pepperoni and bbq wings. The kids liked the pizza, I ate the wings. The wings are all precooked and they just take your order and put it in the box, add sauce and shake. They were pretty good. They are not breaded, which I was looking for since I am can't have wheat. Location is in the middle of old downtown it seemed( not a local) and main street is slow and long. No other eateries close by that I could see.

I've been visiting Buffalo Alice's since the 80's when it was located on Pearl Street. It moved to the remodeled 4th street area with all the other cools restaurants and shops in downtown. The place still looks a bit like a dive, but it does not have that run-down feeling. There are two reasons to visit Buffalo Alices: Pizza and craft beer. They do a really good job making fresh pizzas. It's not as good as Jerry's or El Fredo's, but it's up there. Having craft beer on tap makes it that much better.Service here is two stars. They don't care and or even try to make small talk. They do the minimum to get you a beer and take your order. The rest of the time they huddle and talk with each other or get on their phone.

We went to Rosies and I can tell you I am a pizza snob from Denver Colorado. This by far beats ANYTHING we have here. Perfect fennel old school sausage. Sauce is not overwhelming, and the crust is not overly thick or thin and bread-like. Has the right amount of crispness. It is not greasy. Like another reviewer saidâ if I was on Death-Row I would make Rosies pizza my last mealâ !!!!!!!!!!!!!
