Three Bambinos used to be one of the best, if not the best place for pizza in the Commack/Smithtown area. I say used to because in the last year or so quality and service has gone downhill. The owner used to be there very often and in the last year or so you dont see him much but I'm not sure if that contributes to the problem or not. They make an outstanding chicken caesar pizza with a sesame seed crust but you must order a fresh pie. Ordering a slice or two can result in being given leftover slices that have been sitting for hours. Same goes with regular slices and pretty much anything other than a full pie. Meatball hero is very good and all the wraps are usually pretty good, however we have ordered and arrived to pick up an order only be told they ran out of bread and they dont have our heros ready. We have heard this happened to others too. Wait times for takeout orders are often greatly underestimated. Being told 20-25 minutes has resulted in 45 minutes plus. This typically happens when the owner isnt there and not always on busy weekend nights. Three Bambinos can be great but because of the inconsistent food and service I have to say overall its about average.
Ordered takeout pizza from Monte's! We ordered a large cheese and a large white. The pizza was delicious! The white pizza had generous amounts of ricotta and the perfect amount of garlic and mozzarella. The cheese was simple, classic and delicious NY pizza! The kid working behind the counter was super friendly! They have a menu that will please everyone!

First time there. Ordered three pies including a scrumptious Grandma's Pie. Considering it was my first time there and that I had a pretty big order, it would have been a nice touch to get a free soda or a couple of garlic knots tossed in. That didn't happen.

I have stopped here many times as I pass by for a slice or two of Gourmet Pizza or even for a meal on one occasion.Today I stopped and got 2 slices and decided to "Trip Advisor" the place because I think it's pretty good, so I snapped a couple of pictures to add to the listing.Apparently the guy behind the counter was having a bad day or just a heap of "attitude" because he started going off on me for taking pictures.I explained what I intended to do, and you'd have thought this was CIA Headquarters or something!! Wow!He wouldn't let up, so I shut my mouth and waited for my food, paid and left.I also decided that I would not write a bad review just because he was having a bad day (or whatever) because the food has always been better than average. So, I suggest you try it, but I'll be taking my business elsewhere from now on because the truth is, pizza places are a dime a dozen!

If you don't mind paper plates and plastic utensils this place is a winner. The clam chowder is probably the best I have ever eaten. The clams were icy cold and tasty. I had the fried grouper sandwich and it was perfectly prepared. We would absolutely go again and again.

This is a pizzeria-restaurant. The pizza is thick and heavily topped, which is how I like it. Nothing fancy decor-wise, but more so than most pizzerias. I suppose everywhere get some bad reviews, but I'd be really curious to see how picky people were who didn't like this place.

The service is great and the food is wonderful. We had several items from the menu and all were delicious. The service was also very good. We have had take out pizza often and it is the best for our family. Delicious NY style pizza.

We are a family owned and operated restaurant. Our meal's are prepared to order to accommodate our customers. We offer seasonal outdoor seating and have a beautiful bar with happy hour. We are both family friendly as well as romantic. We can host Private
Let me preface by saying we always sit at the bar. This is a hard one to write because my husband and I used to really like Salâs and frequented it at least once a week. About 5 or 6 months ago, their food began to go downhill and has continued to get worse. In addition, the atmosphere has gotten very unpleasant. With the exception of the night the ownerâs son works the bar (the son is fantastic and always makes you feel welcome), itâs gotten progressively worse to the point where we have decided we will not go there anymore. This is sad because we used to really like it. With that said, they make fantastic lasagna, gnocchi and fettuccine alfredo. declined over the last 8 or 9 months. The food was already a bit overpriced, but it seems as if itâs gotten even more expensive. We went in the other day and they charged $28 for a piece of overcooked salmon and about $28 for some pasta that was horrible. This is not a restaurant that can justify those prices. Those should have been around $17 each. Itâs a very casual place, but theyâre pricing about a level or two higher than they should. This is not an upscale restaurant or even close to it.The other day when we were in there, I asked the bartender for Parmesan cheese and pepper. She actually handed me one of those cheap little glass Parmesan shakers and cheap glass salt and pepper shakers. What kind of restaurant that serves pasta doesnât have freshly grated Parmesan? When I asked about freshly grated Parmesan, she actually said they grate cheese everyday and put it in the shakers. That makes no sense at all. Why would a place do that? Plus, how exactly will you be getting the Parmesan out of the small shaker holes? Obviously, itâs ground Parmesan. As for the pepper, they charge $28 for pasta, but canât even provide ground pepper? She actually gave me a pepper shaker? We used to enjoy eating going there and eating at the bar, but we now find it to be a very unpleasant environment; therefore, we we will never go back. I hate to give them 2 stars, but in our opinion, it no longer warrants a higher score. Hello my name is Sal and I am the owner of Sal's. I see in your profile you are from Ohio and I do not see a name so it's hard for me to know who you are. Let me try to address all your comments. First let me say we use nothing but the freshest ingredients and everything is cooked to order. My chefs have been with me for 7 years and have received high praise from food critics (Joan Reminick and Peter Gianotti). Our bartenders have been the same for 3 years now. Our menu prices have not changed in 2 years. Our cheese is grated daily and is a blend of imported cheeses that we mix ourselves imported from Italy. We offer both a pepper mill that we can grind fresh pepper or a regular pepper shaker. You say you are a regular at Sal's? Your comment say otherwise. If you loved my place so much and know my son, why not voice your issues? This does not sound like the comments of a True Sal's regular or patron. If you wish to discuss your issues with me, I am available anytime or One of my family members who can always be found on premise. 631-543-6000. I hope to hear from you.Regards,Sal

Based on reviews from this site, we sought out Ciroâs and were not disappointed in our choice. Tried 4 separate slices plus some pepperoni roles and everyone loved them. The guys working behind the counter were nice and greeted us warmly when we ordered. My daughter loved here extra sauce pizza Square and ordered another to go.They earned their review by being true to their craft. The other reviews were true also, enjoy!

The pizza was delicious! Their pepperoni slice was awesome. They make it with the tiny pepperoni, which I love on pizza! The Everything slice was awesome as well. Meatball, pepperoni, sausage, peppers, onions, and mushrooms - the slice is heavy. Maneuver with two hands! Great experience.
