Upon the recommendation of someone we know, we picked up a pizza last week and stopped in for grinders this week. Both the pizza and grinders were excellent. They will make the pizza anyway you like. They also have a large number of grinders. We had the Reuben and the A1 Steak grinders which were both very good. They have three sizes and we ordered the 4 inch which was adequate. Fries were also very good.

Located on the small and quaint main street of Simpsonville, sits this cozy little pizza joint. You are greeted with robust aromas of garlic, exposed bricks and beams, and the bright and charming smile of Frank himself. Two cafe style tables conveniently sit outside so that one could enjoy their Italian dishes while taking advantage of the beautiful weather. You order at register and seat and serve yourself the beverage of choice. I had originally ordered a half meatball and half cheese steak but learned he couldn't make those particular flavors because of two different sauces. So we compromised....I got the meatball pizza and a free slice of the pre-made steak and cheese. Both pizzas were fantastic. The crust is the NY style which is thin, crusty on bottom, soft in the middle. I was very satisfied with my stop and look forward to a future visit.

I was very surprised when the food was brought out at just how large the portions were. Certain entrees come with starters. They come with choice of house, Greek or Caesar salad and bread. I chose the Greek. It was HUGE for a starter salad. You could almost make a meal out of the salad alone. It was very good and had a variety of toppings. The only disappointment was the dressing. It was from a packet instead of homemade. My dad ordered the Caesar. There was nothing special about it. It was nothing more than a little lettuce with a sprinkling of powdered cheese. I am not sure if they forgot croutons but it was sad looking. Again the dressing was from a packet.I had spaghetti with marinara (I asked for it to be baked.) It was HUGE. Enough for 2 plus leftovers. It had good flavor and had a good ratio of sauce to spaghetti. The marinara is more of a rich sauce. Seems to have more tomato paste as opposed to a lighter sauce. My dad had ziti with meat sauce and sausage. It was huge as well. He enjoyed it. Garlic knots come out with the pasta. They are served with marinara. They are not what you would expect. They look more likely big garlic rolls that are puffed up. Not like a pretzel that you would expect.Overall the food was good. Tons of leftovers to take home. I would suggest if you are going with someone split an entree if you agree on something to eat. You could save some money without leaving hungry.
Very little sauce and toppings. Service was slow and pizza wasn't hot. I do not recommend this pizza Resturant. Try Bova across the street. They are a lot better.

We had a great time with our group of eight. I was grateful they took reservations, the place is busy on a Friday night! The pizza takes a while to get to your table, but the garlic knots and beers are great to hold you over. Our server was very nice and checked on us often to see if we needed anything.

Could be 3 Stars with some changes.Seated promptly for lunch but was not busy.Ordered drinks. Ordering food was a little slow.I had Gyro sandwich with Greek salad. Lamb didnât seem like it was cooked at the restaurant. Slices were exactly the same size and rounded at the corners. It is either brought in prepackaged or canned. Flavor was not there. Sauce was very good.Greek salad had one pepperoni and no olives. Maybe the excessive feta cheese was meant to cover that up.Friend had chicken souvlaki and Greek salad and had the same experience.Menu goes way beyond Greek and Italian and perhaps the food quality had to go the other direction.Prices were very good however.

We have eaten at Bova a number of times over the past few years. The food is usually pretty good. When they used to be open on Sundays, their brunch menu was excellent. They are no longer doing the Sunday brunch, though. The atmosphere in the restaurant can be a bit loud. We have been in there before around mid-day when it was just a few people, and they had hard rock blaring through the speakers. That's not a good way to get us to want to come back. The service has been off-and-on.

We have tried many many pizzerias and this is 1 of our absolute favorites. Aside from the pizza we have tried the Spaghetti and baked Ziti, they weren't bad but we have had better. However, we still go back for the pizza. It's worth it!

My wife and I have heard about Milano's for some time and we finally tried it. It's easy to get to and they have lots of parking. We felt welcomed as soon as we arrived and were shown to a booth. Our server Niomi was delightful, friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. This night one of the specials was 8 Wings and a Pizza with 2 toppings. It sounded good so that's what we ordered and it was very good. We enjoyed the winds and the pizza was great. We'll be back.

Family owned and operated Italian restaurant. Conveniently located in the Five Forks area of Simpsonville, SC.
A group of six of us stopped for dinner and all were satisfied with their meals. The salads are large, my lasagna was baked in it's own dish and excellent. The meals included garlic bread. I could not eat all of mine and many had to get boxes to go.
