Recently visited this restaurant while staying in Lecchi in Chianti. We had read some reviews and we certainly were not disappointed. I would say that this meal was the highlight of our holiday. Chef Simone is hand on and was there to meet and greet. I admire his enthusiasm. Food and service was excellent from start to finish. Simone also does cookery classes and I would love to attend in the future. I would have no hesitation in recommending this restaurant for those visiting the area. To Simone and staff thank you all for a most enjoyable evening.

I was taken to I'Giuggiolo recently by my friends in Florence just to experience their coccoli and I absolutely fell in love with the place. The atmosphere is fantastic...warm, friendly and relaxed. The place was packed, but we didn't have to wait very long for a table. The coccoli (fried balls of dough) were perfect and accompanied with phenomenal prosciutto crudo and stracchino cheese. I could have eaten just this and been completely happy. (In fact, we went back a week later and picked some up "to go", shoveling it in our mouths as we drove back home!)One of my friends had the "Lucciola" salad, which consists of greens, tomato, tuna, olives, hard-boiled egg, and mozzarella. Her husband had the pizza margherita and I had one with mushrooms. Everything was cooked perfectly (and the buffalo mozzarella was amazingly creamy and absolutely delicious). Price was moderate, not bad for Florence at all. Highly recommend this osteria/pizzeria if you are in the Campo di Marte area of Florence!

Came here after the good reviews and comments on the great pizza. The decor of the restaurant is lovely and on the whole looks very nice.We were greeted with a free glass of prosecco. Our waiter unfortunately was very off with us all night which resulted in him losing his tip from us. It was like we'd annoyed him in some way, or when we asked for something it was like we were an inconvenience. The pizza was average, really nothing mind blowing. We were given a shot of some brown liquor at the end which was absolutely vile.. I joked with my partner that the waiter truly hated us.It was also incredibly hot last night and the restaurant had no ac or fan, my boyfriend had to go outside several times to cool down as sweat was running off of him.On the upside, our starters (pictured) were delicious.

The Vetreria Boutique Restaurant in Florence will follow a new gastronomic concept in a boutique of flavors ..
We booked reservations figuring it would be very crowded on a Friday night considering the rating of the restaurant. We probably didn't need reservations. Our meal was good but not outstanding. We both had the pasta carbonara which was good, but I've had better in Italy at many locations. Perhaps it was not their specialty as the steak seems to be what they are best known for. The prices are reasonable. The waitstaff was good, but the African woman was particularly excellent. With so many choices in Tuscany, we won't be coming again.

Farina 00 is the first Graneria® in Italy, a new concept of modern catering based uniquely upon flour which is intended as a form of art, the Arte Bianca. A quick-casual restaurant where flour based products find an excellent combination with local ingred
We certainly did not experience any of the issues of previous reviewers in terms of translation. Yes, there is only an Italian menu, including a handwritten one for the specials of the day. But after letting us choose the table we wanted and leaving us to peruse the menu for a brief while, Helena cams up and asked if she could help with the menu. She also offered some detail on the white wines available. A few clarifications / translations later, whilst sipping on our wine, we ordered our pizza. The pizzas were freshly made and cooked in a wood fired oven - and were huge and yummy. As we said our farewells, we received big smiles from all the staff including the pizza chefs and Helena. Unfortunately for us the restaurant will be closed for a couple of weeks in August, but we'll be back again when they return from holidays.

Pizza ( and more... )
My friends and I have been going to this little pizza place during our stay. You choose the pizza you want, then they weigh it and heat it in the oven. It is different from the traditional pizza, more like an open faced sandwich...fresh ingredients and friendly staff. There is a washroom, and a few high tables with stools. Go early because sometimes they sell out.

I wish I had found this restaurant before my final night in Florence. I had a ticket for the Fiorentina match so it was a very hurried dinner but I would have eaten there more if I had found the place sooner!I had the best Calzone I have ever eaten and a half litre of their excellent house red wine a bottle of water and the bill was about 17 euros - an absolute bargain. The setting was charming in a little square in front of a church. The staff were very friendly and, whilst I was able to muddle along in my limited Italian, they were speaking good English to other guests. If and when I return to Florence I will be back!

Visited here twice during our holiday as we were staying a short walk away.... very unassuming from the outside but the welcome from the staff was great. Some staff spoke little English but the main waiter was great explaining menus and making recommendations. Very reasonably priced and lots of variety on the menu (good amount of veggie options)Mainly locals eating here but a must try if only for the desserts!!

First store of Pizzaman Franchising: you can take away your pizza or you can eat on stools in a pizzeria.
If youâre passing through or stopping in Florence go to this place! The pizza is fantastic and the service is second to none! All the guys in the shop work really hard and are really great - we visited last year and came back this year and all we could talk about was this pizza man shop! Thank you so much! See you for your next pizza!!
