BUFAMBO is in the center of Sant Francesc in fomentera, close to the main square. It's a very quiet and warm restaurant. Food is mainly italian and biological, with a bit of influence from Spanish food. You can order first dishes, second (fish and meat) and they are all delicious. I suggest you to try Pizza because they made it with a different recipe for the dough. They have also good selection of wine and beer!Price are average for formentera (remember that Formentare has high prices)

Very good mussels (15â¬), lobster noodles (28â¬) and desserts (7,50⬠- expensive).Tuna steak good but also pretty expensive for its size and with no side dishes (25â¬), had to order small portion of vegetables extra for 6,50â¬. Service very good, partly not so professional but very dedicated.

Sa Panxa is a restaurant located in Sant Ferran Ses Roques, in the main road between this town and Sant Francesc Xavier, the main town in Formentera. We came here to lunch the first day of the year and it was one of the few opened restaurants at this moment, and it did not disappoint us. I had lunch molluscs with sauce, duck leg with a sweet potato sauce and a tiramisu, a very good site to start the New Year. We also drank a white Verdejo wine, which was very good.The place is very big, perfect to come here with a baby and it has a beautiful terrace inside, however when we arrive it was a little cold, better in summer.Thank you for your comment and visit. We have made some changes on the menu to adapt it to the new summer season. Hope you can visit us soon and happy to be part of your memories of Formentera. Decent pizza but way overpriced! The waitress was friendly but pushy! She kept offering to bring appetizers after we no longer had the menu with us. After we got the bill we realized each tiny (not good) sandwich she brough us for appetizer was 5 euros (we were in 4)! So be aware of your waitress offer to bring appetizer after she had taken the menu from you.As I said food was decent but very overpriced. I suggest for anyone who really wants a good meal with fair price to check the the Italian restaurant across the street. Food and service there were AMAZING and our bill was less than we paid for pizzas at Margarita.

The place is very holiday-ish, with plastic chairs and not much effort with the décor, but it delivers. The food was good and fresh, and the sangria was just great. Owner who also waited on the tables was very pleasant and attentive, Would recommend as a quick eat before doing something for the evening,

This restaurant is in the middle of Formentera's attractive capital Sant Fransesc. We stopped by for lunch and each chose one of several salads on offer along with sparkling water. The food, which included figs, strawberries and walnuts, was very good indeed. The service however was pretty slow particularly when the place was really quiet. The bottles of sparkling water came without, or indeed without the offer of, ice and lemon. Not sure they were particularly bothered about customer service

We found this little pizza shop in a less traveled street in San Francesc. When we first went there we had 2 small calzones ready to eat. It was wonderful surprise since the calzones were really tasty and inexpensive as the rest of the menu. Later that day we returned to pick up a pizza that we previously ordered. Don't be fooled by the pizza al taglio ready to eat, if you like thin dough pizzas you must orders these ones from the extensive menu and it will be ready when you ask for. The staff is great and you will not get a better deal in the island.

Lovely little restaurant for lunch.We had burrata and ham to start followed by black strozzapreti pasta with prawns and genovese pesto and spaghetti with clams.All very tasty and reasonably priced, washed down with two bottles of Albariño.What more could a man want?!

Our first night in Formentera was spent with local friends who introduced us to Pizzeria Macondo! The food and atmosphere are both impressive. Service was friendly and fast! The restaurant had a lively scene at 11pm on a Monday! Pizza portions are LARGE! So many options to choose from. We also enjoyed the fresh pasta and delicious variations of panna cotta! Don't miss this place!

Friendly Italian staff, offering a free welcome aperitif. A relaxed pleasant environment (sat outside in covered terrace). The pizzas are very decent but the second time we went, they were ready very quickly and in fact a tad undercooked. Taste and ingredients used are good quality though. Family friendly restaurant as well.
