Things to do in Sandusky
We stopped here for a quick pizza after a long day on Kelleys island. We were greeted by the owner who showed us a coupon, chatted with us while we were waiting for the pizza, and made sure we had what we needed to enjoy the delicious pizza right at one of the three tables in the mostly take out store. Will definitely be back again.
We visited Mona Pizza Gourmet during a dance competition, which was a short walk from the restaurant. The establishment provides a New York style pizza which can be purchased by the slice or whole pies. The crust and sauce reminded me of typical make at home pizzas. The staff however, was very friendly. I found this pizza to be overpriced, and the toppings were good, but minimal.

The ingredients seemed fresh and the place was clean. It's an order-at-the-counter type place. Which worked well for us. We were super hungry and appreciated the fast service. Our food wasn't greasy which was refreshing after a day at Cedar Point.
Came here for dinner, and husband ordered a Extra Most with buffalo sauce, and a Hot and Ready with garlic parm all over. Never had the EM like that before, but me likey. Both came fast, fresh and hot. Really easy to find, as it's right by the intersection of Perkins Ave and Milan Rd on the SE side (aka 250).

After long day of travel to Sandusky too tired to go out for food. Asked one of the hotel workers where we could get a pizza delivered at 11 pm and this place was recommended. We googled and called. Asked for specials and the person rattled off a few. Reasonaable for 2 liter, bread sticks and 2 large one topping pizzas.Delivery person was early and called up to the room. Everyone was happy and pizza was good cold the next day, the true test of a good slice!

Not sure what is going on here-half the place is pizza oriented, the other side seems to be attempting to be a fine diner.Ate on the pizza side. Pizza OK, not outstanding. Beer selection (bottles only) interesting. Service, friendly but spacey.

Great place that was hidden from the other tourist attractions in the area. The place looked like it was once a house at some point. It was located in a residential area. The servers were all very friendly to me and my family. The pizza sauce was homemade and the dough as well. Definitely would recommend this place. I've been to a lot of pizza places, however this one stood out to me.

Stopped to support local business. Nice stop for lunch. Pizza buffet was ok. Not too busy but pizzas came out a bit slow. They did send out a white pizza at our request which was a bonus.

We were staying at a nearby resort and we used the tripadvisor app to locate the closest high ranking restaurant. Danny Boys was ten minutes away. The restaurant was initially quiet as it was late evening. We were greeted with friendly smiles as we walked in the door, which is always nice. Our waitress was very very friendly and we enjoyed visiting with her, since the restaurant wasn't busy. We ordered an appetizer as we'd never had a Pierogi before. It was brought to our table within ten minutes. The potato and cheese pierogi was deep fried. It is served with a sauce. The pierogi was plain and it didn't mesh with the barbeque sauce we ordered. But, since we have never had pierogi's before we have no clue if they are typically tasteless, except for the sauce. We ordered the Clevelander pizza and the Silvios Creamy Chicken Pasta. We had more than enough food for 3 people. The pizza was good, not great, and the pasta was average. The sauce needed more zing.A very large noisy group came into the restaurant to celebrate a birthday and they were seated across from our corner table. We ended up having to move due to the noise and rowdiness of the kids in the group. This is definitely more of a family restaurant than a romantic Italian restaurant, which is fitting for the Sandusky area. The food is good, service is friendly, and the prices are not too bad.

Found this on Yelp and it did not disappoint. Outside doesnât look overly impressive but donât let that deter you. The food is delicious and service staff cheerful & attentive. Try the zucchini fries for an appetizer. Then you canât go wrong with any of the pizzas. Best of all, you can order one pizza with two completely different halves containing any toppings. So itâs like getting 2 pizzas in one! One large pizza could easily serve 3 people. Weâll definitely stop again the next time weâre in Sandusky!
