This hidden gem in San Martino features local Ladin and Italian dishes done to perfection. Highly recommend: potato skins w sauerkraut appetizer, Ladin onion soup, cajinci ravioli, and F course the salmerino (Char). This was such good food in sophisticated bare wood setting that we came here twice in 3 days for dinner. â¤ï¸â¤ï¸â¤ï¸â¤ï¸â¤ï¸

Dinner with family, we stopped at Trafoi on our way back from San Martino in Badia to Corvara, since it was impossible to book a table for dinner in Corvara. What a nice surprise.Very good pizza, service was efficient and pricing was reasonable. We recommend Trafoi!

The location is excellent, in a small "castle" on a hill just overlooking S Vigilio. Service was prompt and very friendly. We had pizzas and these were just ok, hence the 'average' evaluation. But mind you, 'average' pizza in Italy, even far from Naples, is pretty good. Here we had two good but unremarkable pizzas. My Diavola had the standard so so salami rather than the excellent soppressata that you sometimes you can get. Overall not sure we would go back, there are better options in the area eg Condor, close to S Vigilio along the same road that takes you here (but consider that we haven't been there for a few years now).

First meal in this quiet village.Looks like typical family run pizza place but hugely impressed with the beef tartare starter which arrived in a smoke dome! Truly delicious.Lots of tempting and surprising dishes on the menu and perfect pizzas. Thin and crispy from wood fire. Sensible wine list.Great value too.

In the vicinity we were in several restaurants in three days that were not bad but we were not surprised. Therefore, if they do not have their home-made red wine, they are really good. But as for the kitchen, they are all the same. Pizza and pasta really do. That's why we chose this steak restaurant, and at the entrance to the restaurant you will find that one of the higher price categories, when you open the menu you will only confirm. The prices are high here and the service is very important, the best we got when we brought 4 kinds of salt to the table. Which I think 80% of people, if they had their eyes covered, do not know what salt they are using. But chap is a noble business. So I said that the food would probably be good, which was then confirmed. Deer tartar excellent and chicken on curry so good, it was a nice evening

In our restaurant you will enjoy tasty traditional Tyrolian as well as Italian dishes. Moreover, if arranged in advance, delicious game meats and Ladin dinners are served. In addition to the regional and national cuisine, you will have the chance to taste
Just the most awesome ravioli I ever had! What makes this place special is that they have more than just the standard fare found on Italian restaurants. You could see the cook assembling the pizzas and putting them in the rotating wood fired oven. My daughter found that really exciting. The only gripe was that it seemed a bit understaffed as there were 2 waitresses serving over 15 tables. Service was bound to be a tad slow but the taste made up for it.

The Restaurant Pizzeria Erika is an elegant restaurant located in downtown San Vigilio with good food and welcome. We are at your disposal with a huge choice of local menu prepared with care.
Very convenient for most hotels etc including Clara. Very pleasant place, helpful staff, option of menu in English if necessary. Nice pizza and pasta and local dishes. Wine ok as well. Efficient service and price very reasonable. I really liked it here and we came back twice. Next time in San Vig I will go again.

We've been coming back for years. It's one of the highlights of our trips to San Vigilio. Enjoy regional specialties and much more: If you have special needs/requests, just say the word, and your wish will be fulfilled. Ingredients are fresh and top quality. Pasta is homemade.

After a rainy day spent driving the countryside, we happened upon this beautiful spot on our way back to our rental. What a find! We pulled up to find a lovely covered patio with toys for our toddler who was in desperate need of some playtime to burn off energy, a warm and friendly welcome from the owner, and (best of all) drinks for ourselves. After a great conversation with the owner where she gave us lots of local background (wish I had gotten her name!), we decided to spend a bit more time letting our son play and relaxing and enjoying the scenery until the kitchen opened. We certainly were not disappointed!! Dinner was delicious!!! My husband had the flank steak (or what was left of it after our son ate more than half), and I had the shrimp dish. Both cooked and seasoned to perfection. To top it off, the restaurant is gorgeous inside. We will likely be back tomorrow!

I tried seafood pizza and it was goood. It is not common to find well balanced pizza with seafood in the mountains but there you go. My wife tried SanVigilio with local cheese and it was very tasty too. Good find.
