Reviews on Pizza food in San Jose, Province of San Jose, Costa Rica. Vibrant and packed with Victorian mansions, Costa Rica's rowdy, bustling capital was built on the profits of the coffee trade and working "golden bean" plantations still surround the city. Try freshly roasted local beans at Mercado Central. For shinier gold, visit the Museo del Oro. Many renovated landmarks now house stylish hotels. Usually viewed as a hub, rather than a destination, nightlife is concentrated in Spanish village-inspired El Pueblo. Don't miss the elegant 1897 National Theater.

Every single thing on the menu is absolutely amazing. We had the pasta "alla ruota" with a very special parmiggiano reggiano cheese sauce. The homemade sangria is delicious, I highly recommend it. As for dessert, I recommend the bonnet, it's a chocolate-amaretto cake/flan that will leave you breathless. The strawberry panacotta is something out of this world. Have them both, you won't regret it. Prices are a lil expensive because portions are small, but it's fine if you want to treat yourself once in a while.

Hoplers, a magical and mythical place where its corridors tell thousands of stories ... With more than 50 years old, this mansion and its garden have become an unparalleled place to visit and spend a very enjoyable time with your partner or friends ... We
This is really a hidden gem. When you get to the place, you can not imagine what´s hidden behind the gate. It is a really cool and historical place that makes you wonder about the history of it. It looks like a combination of the Titanic and a brothel, really different. They say it was owned by an italian artist? It now is a cozy place with a great variety of beers, pub food and when we were there they had a live jazz jam session going on. I didn´t think San Jose would have such a place!!

Based on a friend's recommendation, I tried this place out for lunch, and was pleasantly surprised with the numerous vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options! I will have to go back many times, as there are so many choices. I got the veggie sandwich, which was good (just would have asked that they not put in the middle slice of bread had I known). All the vegetables in the sandwich and the accompanying salad were fresh and the dressings tasty, not heavy at all.Although I didn't try yet, they have a large selection of different pizzas, along with a make your own bowl, with tons of choices of veggies, grains, meats if you want, topping, etc., that look awesome. The folks eating at another table tried two different smoothies and desserts, and said that they were great too. The staff were friendly and informative, and the prices are really reasonable. If you are in central San Jose and looking for tasty healthy food, this is the place!

Pizzeria. The main focus is pizza and some starters (antipasti) are available. The pizzas are neapolitan style and are baked in 90 seconds in 1000F\500C oven. The dough is made with Italian flour and fermented with beer yeast for at least 24 hours to ensu
We were heading out of town on commuter rail and stumbled on this restaurant. Had a tasty pizza with a carafe of wine. Even better than the food was the wonderful owner, who was so helpful and friendly (and spoke excellent English)/ Enjoyed talking with him as well as other customers.

Service was very spotty. Waiter uninspired and not at all helpful to the two gluten free diners at our table. The ravioli and the pizza I shared with my friend weâre ok (ravioli lacked flavor) but the greatest disappointment was that both dishes were barely warm. The pizza had sat for so long that it was soggy. Prices seem high for the quality, presentation and service.
