The restaurant was born from Fragoletta OLD TAVERN (located just opposite), as HAMBURGHERIA KM ZERO and PIZZERIA WITH A LONG PROVING dough with a cozy bar area. Because of its strategic position, just before the passage through the historical center and a
As we tried to spontaneously get a table for two at the vice versa Osteria Fragoletta on a Sunday, which was not possible (our fault!), the Mangiadischi was recommended to us by the staff. The little place is also operated by the Fragoletta owners. We wanted to try the Risotto Pilota and the Tortelli Zucca, which luckily were also available here. Very simple dishes from a small menu, very limited drinks menu and overall very simple presentation. BUT: Both dishes very well done and very tasty! The traditional Risotto Pilota with mantuan sausage, which is twice cooked and therefore not really comparable to a ânormalâ risotto, was very tasty. The Tortelli Zucca just plain with sage / salvia butter and a bit of parmesan cheese: Very thin, al dente pasta with a very good filling. Just right for a light lunch! Very friendly service!Thank you I wish you the best.....Nik

I arrived late to Mantova so finding an open place for dinner wasn't easy. I thankfully had read reviews about this place. It's a no frills restaurant/take away food place. The service was quite fast and the food was tasty. So all good! I had penne with prawns and zucchini and a big arancini. Quite filling! That and a Coke was around 12â¬. They had a nice seating outside but I preferred eating inside. Lots of locals in the place. All good to me!

Restaurant Pizzeria with free home delivery: pizzas and ready meals, from appetizers to dessert, seafood specialities and pizzeria with wood-fired oven, large playground, ample parking
Excellent restaurant populated by the local people for dinner or to watch one of the televised sporting events. Great selection of pizzas and pastas as well as meat and seafood main courses with good wine. Manager was very helpful and took time to explain the local dishes to us.

We have been eyeing up this restaurant for10 days but never finding it open (august holiday?) and tonight it didn't disappoint ! All of us loved the food and drinks. The waiter kindly told me about the portion size (generous) and so I.we could amend our order. The quality was really good and the food, drink and service represented tip top value for money. Only downside was no music and as we were among the first diners, we would have liked a little bit if music.

Hidden pizzeria, away from the tourists. ..and that's a good thing. I'm surprised it is surviving in Mantova, knowing how stuck up its people are, but it is worth a visit. The place is tiny, one room. It gets busy quickly and you could end up eating beside the door. If you don't like the idea, reserve a table. The room hasn't been decorated for a 1000 years, but personally I don't care... it's just appearance. If you want a modern place, freshly decorated, don't come here. The pizza is good and cheap. My husband had 2!!! I stopped at 1, but I was very happy with it. The staff was ok, they did their job. Amazing prices. Surely going back next time I'm in mantova. Thank you.

We visited here after passing by on a previous evening and seeing how busy it was. Pizzas seemed popular but we chose alternatives. They were quite good and plentiful though mine was slightly burned. The main disadvantage was that my husband had almost finished his before mine arrived. Maybe we should have had the pizza as I see other reviewers really rate them. Fairly inexpensive.

We stumbled across this place and we're so glad that we did. Very reasonable prices for very goood quality food. The spinach and ricotta quiche was delicious. The staff were friendly and welcoming too. Water complimentary when we ate there. A take away to the adjacent lake would have also worked well. All 5 of us enjoyed our food here.

We sat in side street round corner from restaurant. The staff were super attentive, keen you enjoyed everything, from the wine, pizza & desert, explaining ingredients and origins. Pizza was just delicious. I wasn't very hungry but enjoyed the local sausage, onion, peppers and cheese pizza, which was very light in base and cooked to perfection. One waiter in particular really made our evening with all his top tips on the food to ensure we enjoyed our time there.

The real gourmet pizza made with high quality ingredients. Special tastes: every week we suggest a different combination of tastes. Pizza Take Away in Mantua: a streetgourmet Pizza.
I had pizza from Crosta for takeaway on locals' advice. The dough was surprisingly good - crunchy at the bottom but soft, and light. The toppings were also tasty. I had some of the pizza with tuna and mushrooms, and some with prosciutto cotto. Everyone in my party was happy with the pizzas. I will be back when I am in town.
