I like the think Greek pizza made here. The Super Chicken sandwich is great too.
These owners, young guys are performing with high standards. Great tasting, in-house prepared foods and so much more. We eat here regularly by choice and we have many fine dining establishments in Salem. Affordable To eat on a regular basis without breaking the bank, all the while satisfying your pallet. Find out for yourselves - you won't be disappointed / consistently awesome

This joint is a local watering hole, so don't expect a chain restaurant experience. The bar staff is pleasant and helpful, but if it gets busy, please be patient. The burgers are always freshly hand made, and they are $2 on Monday nights with a pickle and potato chips: toppings 50 cents extra each. The freshly cut fries are heavenly, so order a side of them.

We have enjoyed Flatbread restaurants in the past however the Salem restaurant is going to bring this company down. I was there on Saturday with my husband and 4 grandchildern (no we are not old). The service was the worst I have had in my entire life. The hostess didn't want to be there, she was more concerned with her phone. She put us in the last table next to the bar. The restuarant was not full. The people at the bar were out of their minds, kept coming over to talk to the kids. The bartender should have stopped serviing them. We sit and husband had to get the kids the crayons for the kids. The hostess pointed where they were. We then didn't realize the menu was so limited, unlike others we have gone. We ordered one pizza because there wasn't anything else to order. It came to the table uncut. It had no taste and underooked. The waitress brought 4 dishes for 5 of us, we asked for napkins and silverware never brought them I had to get up and get them. What was that about. For the first time, we left no tip. Here is our tip for you. Improve your staff and have consistent menu. Sorry to see a good reputation take a hit for staffing and management but it is what it is.

Thereâs only one small table. Itâs crowded...but itâs a damn fine and fun place. The owner makes you feel like your friends over for lunch/dinner. The specials they dream up (ie a âBig Mac pizzaâ) are innovative and the excitement with which they describe them to guests is palpable. The food ranged from OK to very good but the overall experience was 5 stars for this kind of place ...

We were looking for lunch and happened upon this place. What a good choice! The pizza came Quickly and was tasty. We ordered a 2 liter of soda to go with it. The place is decorated with fireman gear. It's right across the street from the fire station. (Which has a memorial to 9-11 and a piece of the Twin Towers.)

We go in here quite a bit (including today!) and the food is always really tasty and the ingredients are always fresh. We like the salads, as well as the soups and sandwiches. Standouts include the chef salad, the summer salad, any of the soups, the grilled cheese and tomato sandwich and, of course, the cookies. We haven't tried the pizza yet (trying to watch the waistlines), but it looks just as yummy. The cooks working the line know what they're doing, and the staff at the counter make a real effort to get you your food as soon as it's ready. We've been in at least 20 times and have never been disappointed in anything. The people here seem to enjoy working together, there is lots of friendly banter going on, and they work as a team.I will say this: the food we've eaten here is as well made as the same dishes "fancy" restaurants charge twice as much for. We are believers and will continue to frequent Essex Pizza.

After walking around the wharf we were looking for a lunch place that wasnât seafood, stumbled upon the little place. Really wasnât sure of what to expect as the menu is small but we were not disappointed, we split a strawberry fields salad and a pizza, WOW, both tasty and just enough to keep you running around for another 4 hours! Flying Saucer Pizza Company landed in downtown Salem on the historic date of August 3, 2012 - directly next to its sister restaurant Gulu-Gulu Cafe. The mission: to abduct traditional pizza and give it a healthy gourmet spin. Our eclectic pizza menu showc
This was a completely surprising experience for us. Boy did we get more than an ordinary pizza. The crust was a delightful chewy. And the vegetarian Mars Attacks (with breaded eggplant) was amazing, garlicky cheesy deliciousness. Also liked the funky eclectic decor. Very happy with the quick service as well.
