Located in old town of city..Typical local food and pizza ..Nothing special, which you can find everywhere..Slightly above the average prices..Must pay only cash, which nobody knows before and it is not written anywhere..As we insisted to pay with card they find a pos machine and were very unhappy and upset..No idea why..They threw our bill and card on the table and were very unpolite ..There are many other restaurants in town, where you can gave the same or better food and pay by card..We would never visit this place again..

We ordered 2 medium sized pizzas, both were huge and delicious! The staff were very accommodating and despite not booking a table, they managed to seat us outside. We were also offered a complimentary liqueur after eating... I would definitely recommend Maslina if you are looking for Istrian cuisine.I would advise booking a table to be seated outside!

I noticed the place accidentally while walking down the hill from church. It is a very small shop with 5-6 tables outside and only 2 table inside. Family business and very nice people. There are 2 sizes normal and mini. I ordered normal size and it was too big, I couldn't eat and they pack 1/3 of pizza for take away. Lady at the bar and young waiter were very friendly. I can not say it is the best pizza all over the world but deserves at least 8 from 10. Prices are very reasonable.

We stopped for a snack, mini pizza, prosciutto, it was quick and delicious. The staff so friendly and kind. Definitely recommend their pizza. So many pizza places and we only ate here and came back for one to go. Amazing. Definitely put this place as your pizza fav.

Loved this local restaurant, very popular. Food was good and plentiful, bit of a Basil Fawlty atmosphere but enjoyable evening. Staff were quick and attentive and head waiter (owner) was entertaining with his waving arms and rolling eyes. Needless to say the older female member of staff was completely in control.Food very reasonably priced, family friendly.

My wife and I only found this restaurant at the last minute but so glad we did. Good home cooked food and excellent value.Friendly owner service and free liquor to finish your meal.Don't expect haute cuisine, that's not it's style but the food is very good quality, freshly cooked and tasty. My chicken fillet delicious for one meal and a fresh dorada on another night. My wife had mussels and pork steak, also fine.A chicken fillet is a simple meal, but to get it right, soft and tasty does require some skill.Nice really fresh salad side dish. House wine unbeatable value for a litre and fine unless you are a wine snob. We have been fortunate over the years to drink many top wines, but still enjoy a fruity house wine at a tenth of the price !We visited twice during our week in Rovinj.Comfortable garden setting and owner who clearly wanted you to enjoy you stay.No problem to recommend and we will returnEddie and Christine Fox

This is the most popular pizzerias in Rovinj - with some inevitable wait times before securing a table (they don't take advance reservations). We ordered a margerita and cipolla - both fresh and delicious (albeit mildly flavoured). Quick and attentive service.PS - it's cash only, so carry kunas.

Classic restaurant with a various choices of having a pretty nice meal. Located in the heart of the old Town, cozy corner. Tradition since 1985
Nothing fancy--basic local menu--but excellently prepared. Pizzas are typical European thin crust (cooked just right) with a variety of toppings. The Wiener Schnitzel (pork or chicken) was excellent--thin, crisp, and filled half the plate. Good local wines that you can order by the glass or different sized carafes. Location is great--if a bit cramped--for people watching: right at the beginning of Grisia street (the main "artist" street in Rovinj). As such, faces two local artists' shops--one paintings, the other jewelry--who display their wares as a wonderful window dressing for the restaurant's diners.A great lunch location!
