We've been going to Gil's for three generations. It's the best kept secret for delicious pizza. I'm now in Harford County and wish they would move up here, especially since all of Harford Co., use to live in NE Balto. Come on Gil's owner, move up to Forest Hill you would not be sorry. I think when you do just one thing great, it's reflected in the love we all have for their pizza. Shame that the negative is lack of parking and the neighborhood is getting scary, that they put up a glass partition, like the inner city. Time to move up here.
Located at 6701 Belair Rd. This independent family owned pizza shop has been serving the Baltimore area delicious pizza and overstuffed subs since 2010.
My partner is a native Baltimorean, specifically, a Perry Hallite, who long ago moved to St. Louis where she subsists on what we call pizza, Midwestern Italian food, frozen custard and when she's really hungry, toasted ravioli. She misses Baltimore from the very pit of her malnourished soul. A favorite gastronomic memory of hers is Village Sub. When she found out they had closed, I think I actually saw a tear or two tumble down her cheek. On a recent visit, her aunt, who knows good food, steered us to DeNiro's. We ended up eating their food three times in a 2 1/2 week visit. My sweetie was finally able to forget, for a moment, about Village. She gave every sub she had a raving review. I had salads and they were great and good sized. I'm not saying that if the extensive menu boards of Village Sub popped back up in the strip mall down the street that we'd not be there, but to see her really enjoy a sub again was great! Maybe next time we'll try the pizza.

I'm not in the habit of reviewing pizza chains, but Domino's has really gotten it together. Usually we go to Pat's Pizza up the street, but they seem to have a problem making a crispy thin crust product. At Domino's, I placed the order on line--very clean, nice and easy to use. Better than being put on hold trying to call in an order. The website walks you all the way through the order. size-crust-cheese-toppings. You can either pay on line or at the counter. Ordered a 14" large thin crust with pepperoni, onions and mushrooms.Site says it will be ready in 15 minutes. I drove up to the store, checked in on screen, out came the pizza, paid and went home. As advertised, a thin crispy crust not overloaded with toppings. Was hot and really good. Will try some other of their offerings at a later date. Facility was spotless. Pizza was only $7.99 - what's not to like.
The pizza was good. The driver was prompt and professional. i would recommend this location to family and friend traveling in this area.
Whenever I'm in the mood for pizza, a Stromboli or a sub this is always my first choice! Always prepared well and fast and the people who work there are very nice. My favorite is the cheeseburger sub with swiss cheese and fried onions. Yum.
We are new to the area. Pat's is one of the better pizza delivery places. They have a huge menu. This makes it nice not to have to order pizza all the time. I would recommend giving them try if you delivery to your hotel. David

AMAZING!!! Searched online for Best Pizza in Baltimore. Chose Franks because the reviews were great and I loved the basic name Frank's. Easy to find and plenty of parking. Service was impeccable !! Polite, friendly, and helpful with questions. I ordered a Meatball Sub, pizza and my wife got a salad and wings. All were amazing and meatballs were homemade and delicious. Will definitely return!!!

It seems as though we cannot be anywhere near Baltimore without making a pilgrimage to this place for some of the best Italian food around. Everything is homemade with love â from their gigantic subs and sandwiches to the best eggplant lasagna ever tasted! You can tell itâs a fabulous find since thereâs always a policeman and/or firefighter in the throng of people placing orders to eat in their dining area or simply to take out. And then, there are the cheeses, salamis, and every other specialty cold cut you could desire. We always load up on these delicacies and bring them back to Northern Virginia with us! Give it a try â youâll be very pleased â ciao!

We have been here twice now and both times the place is hopping. The pizza is good and so is the service. Your order and pick up your food at the counter and they are moving. The lady busing tables was so nice we left her a good tip. The MD crab soup is delicious. The fish platter was a bit of a disappointment for $13, It turned out to be a couple of large breaded fish sticks which had been dumped in the deep fryer, similar to what you get at McDonald's. It cam with corn and lettuce and tomato.
