It is basically a good pizza place, their specialiy is the arrotolata , a rolled pizza stuffed with various ingredients. The value for what you eat would be fantastic .. Only if that 20% service charge was not included.. Having said that the waiters were really friendly and constantly busy with the service. Well done guys. Only though you don t expect to pay that much service when staff is dresses with shorts and t shirts. Overall though great food and smiley service! Will come back on my next trip to marina!!

From breakfast to after dinner, passing by lunch, snack and dinner. A place that offers a wide selection of fresh dishes for your quick lunch and gourmet dishes for a particular dinner, without neglecting the pizza!
This restaurant is a newcomer to Marina DI Ragusa. It is a co-operative between four people, one of whom is the chef. Situated close to the main square , it has outside dining but i found the interior was a far better p!ace to relax and eat. The decor is clean and modern. The menu is excellent .The host is very accomodating. My wife and i only stumbled upon it one evening and found that it was so popular that we were not able to get a seat , which is very unusual. We decided to have a cocktail at the bar and booked a table for the following evening. We had a very enjoyable meal the following evening and booked in again for a few days later. I suggest that a booking would be a better idea.

Solid place with good service. I had the mixed fish grill and wife had a pizza (a crudo). The fish grill was well presented and tasty. The pizza, though popular and on many tables, has an opportunity for improvement. PLUSES: friendly and attentive staff, popular with local folks (place is large and yet packed), clean, and brightly liteOPPORTUNITIES TO IMPROVE: pizza was not crispy and made our stomachs a little sick. We think it's the cheese. Compared to Palermo's top rated pizza place, there is room for growth. If back in Ragusa, would give it another try and maybe a different mix of dishes. Happy adventuring!

The Pizzaccia born in 2012 in Ragusa (Sicily - Italy) as a pizzeria and Pizzoleria. It 'a familiar conduction. We have about 130 seats divided into several rooms, ideal for those who love tranquility dine with family or friends. For our customers, we try
The place was nearly full with locals so this should be a great place.Considering this and the good reviews for this pizzeria, we were not impressed with the quality of the pizza. We shared 2 plates of antipasto (chesses, olives and cold meats) between 3, which was more than enough. One of our pizzas was with frozen seafood (which was indicated in the menu). The other 2 pizzas were also average. The red house wine is not recommended. At the end the price was very cheap around 40Euros between us 3.

Chose this restaurant from the reviews. Asked our tour guide to book it for six of us for dinner. Had wonderful service throughout the meal. The chef came out to meet us as we left. Sure they were looking for repeat business! Liked the ambiance as it was quiet and the tables not crowded together. The food was wonderful as we ordered a variety of pizza, meat and pasta dishes. We all really enjoyed our dinners and thought they were tasty and well prepared. Reasonably priced.thanks, see you soon
Where to eat Sicilian food in Ragusa: The Best Restaurants and Bars

We've been three times now, in the last four weeks, each time on a Sunday at lunchtime. It is full, not a single tourist except us (this is Winter), just local families who clearly go there a lot. The restaurant stands out into the sand, with the waves turning right in front of you. Just beautiful. The food is all fish. Good quality. Plentiful. Sicilian. Having been in Sicily for two months now, I am increasingly surprised how all restaurants serve more or less the same thing - there must be a big opportunity for someone to do something different! - and this lovely restaurant follows the same lines. But the quality of the food, atmosphere, welcome, and setting make this a particularly nice place to come. There's a good antipasto for one, or two, with a whole bunch of different fishy things to try on it. Good value. And not all fried, which is good. The tuna with melting onions was amazing, but only available I think as part of the antipasto (I could eat a whole plate of it). The fish ravioli in a rich creamy sauce (with marsala in it perhaps, not sure?) was gorgeous. The seafood risotto makes you smile as it's delivered. Wine is a reasonable price. And the people watching brilliant for visitors. As an almost vegetarian, I would have loved a few more vegetable based dishes, but that is the same across Sicily in Winter. We're going back again before we leave

The food is very good, marvellous pizzas to take away as well, but the restaurant must seat nearly 300 people and lacks atmosphere as a result. Must be great when full though. Very reasonable prices.

We happened upon this place by accident, we were looking for an early dinner as we had to get to the airport for our flight home. Every where else was closed or not serving food. So when we saw la grotta beach we decided to give it a go and we were not disappointed! The food was delicious, the arincini were fantastic as was the various kinds of local focaccia and pizza. Very clean. Highly recommended especially if you are in a hurry and want good local authentic food.

On the recommendation of a server at another restaurant, we tried Giro di Vite. It is in the superiore so less overwhelmed by crowds than the Ibla. The courtyard is charming and the staff attentive. In fact, the whole building is remarkable and worth a look, the bar, the interior dining rooms, etc. I cannot give it a thorough review as we only had a light pizza supper, but the server knew his wine and helped us select a Nero dâavola we enjoyed. One of our pizzas featured pumpkin sauce......donât wince until you try it.There is no wood oven but as the server promised the pizza was very good and the crust was perfect. Oh, yes, this is only steps from the cathedral.
