We were very hot and tired so glad of a sit down and cold drinks. We found it very difficult to attract attention and order. And when we had done so it also took a very long time for the food to arrive. When it did, the pizza was ok but not too special.

We went there twice to have pizza and some pasta. Both times we were very satisfied...nothing spectacular, but very solid food and friendly atmosphere and service.

We are here a year ago and were so impressed with the food, service, value for money and typical Italian charm we brought all our wedding guests back this year. All 29 of us had a delicious meal although with two other large groups in the restaurant there was a wait for food to be served.

We were pleased to find this sit-down, casual restaurant at the recommendation of a bar owner just up the street. She could sense that we preferred more than 'bar food' and sent us this way - it was perfect and open (!!) after visiting the ruins at Nora in the 'off-season.'The service and food are average but they did not rush us and our family was able to have a relaxing casual lunch. The 'ravioli su nuraghe' was flavorful and I recommend the "mallored/campidano" or local grilled saugage - also tasty. We shared the penne salmon in a rather plain cream sauce and the misto terra pasta in a red sauce, also very plain. We enjoyed the local Sardinian cheese and meet plate appetizer.Cost is reasonable - pasta as an entree about 6-8 Euro, lemon soda 3 Euro, white wine 6 Euro per glass (maybe a bit high). Desserts ran about 4 euro to 5 Euro (limited selection from a glass dessert counter). Tiramisu and Lemon Torte were both yummy.All-in-all, perfect for a local lunch when touring the area.

We went there twice. What a terrific setting. Super restaurant in a lovely walled garden. Lots of bustle, chat, and laughter - and that's just the Staff. They were terrific. Guiseppe, Francesca, Sonia and, our ebullient photographer, Chiara looked after us marvellously well. The food was delicious. The service - fast, efficient, friendly. Value for money - great. There were even lizards in the lamplight on the high boundary wall. Overall a really memorable experience.

Do not expect much elaborated dishes, here. But what it is offered is simple, very fresh, simply well cooked. Place is popular, therefore expect some noise around you, as people and families are happy and comunicative to enjoy their food. My ârisottoâ with seafood was my best in life. You may also drink wines and spirits from a vast cellar. Prices affordable

Stopped for lunch in this busy restaurant on the main piazza. The service was good considering how crowded it was. The food was tasty and the portions were a good size. The price was good and I would eat here again. Some evenings they only do pizza.

Tropical Garden Restaurant is an exclusive location, spacious and comfortable, perfect for your lovely evenings, lunches or dinners, wedding, birthdays and events, with over twenty years experience in catering. Our italian and sardinian traditional cuisine
We loved this place so much we drove back a second time from our villa some towns away.Juliano, restaurant owner, greeted us warmly and seated us immediately. He spent a great deal of time with us explaining Sardinian cuisine and preparing his own homemade specialties for us. His food was fabulous. The restaurant opens onto a beautiful garden area under palms and flowering trees, making the dining experience here all the more special. We highly recommend Juliano's Tropical Garden!

Had pizzas there with family. Pizzas are just amazing. Probably some of the best pizzas we've ever had. Portions very generous, prices cheap too compared to mainland. Strongly recommend it. Meal and drinks for five was less than 25 euros. Seating (simple) available outside but somehow more of a take-away, also very popular with locals. If you're not early expect some waiting time for your order.
