We were treated to an awesome experience at Congrejo Loco. The menu offers a variety of food types at great prices. We split a pizza combo including garlic bread and 2 drinks, which was more than enough to split between two people. The pizza was good and the cocktails tasty. Would definitely recommend to a friend! It makes us really happy to read such a good review! As a new bussines this is realky important for us! Thank you very much and ee hope to see you guys again! Pura vida!
Authentic Napolitana-Style pizza baked in a traditional brick wood oven. American cuts of meat made on an open fire grill. Offering gluten free pizzas & delicious vegan options. Capicce?
We came here because 2 of the 8 of our group are gluten free and we heard that they have handmade gluten free pizza crust made from yuca, so we just HAD to try! The food and the staff was AMAZING! The sad part was that when we got there, they only had one gluten free crust left for the night, but it is what it is. Normally it wouldn't be a problem, but I'm also vegetarian and the other girl who's gluten free is not. The chef offered to make her a meat dish instead, so that worked for her and we just split the one gluten free pie together. You can def split a pie between at least 2 people. The shrimp was good and so was the steak that the chef made for my friend. Nothing was even "okay" it was all "delicious". HEADS UP: the focaccia bread is the size of a whole pizza! It's not like a small loaf. We found this out the hard way, by ordering 2 of them! WAAYY too much pizza for us to finish, but we just had it for breakfast the next day. Pricing is a little high, but the quality and taste of the food make it worth it! If you want amazing pizza, go here!Kelly, thank you for your review. Weâre pleased that you had such a fine experience dinning with us. Pura Vida!

the Amimodo restaurant is located in front the beach. We have a different kind of special home made dishes ,celiacs pastas and veggetarian food. Friendly service....special for family and lovers!
Excellent food! Hubby and I enjoyed dinner here one evening in July. My al tropico chicken was truly delicious and hubby enjoyed his seafood pasta! Lovely setting with outdoor tables, friendly service, and free wifi. Dinner was in the $50 range (no alcohol). Credit cards are accepted for payment. We love the mural painted on the entranceway floor! *Thank you for reading my review! Please click the âthumbs-upâ below. :)

Not only is the food and pizza professionally prepared, cooked (pizza in a brick wood stove) and served, the staff were bright and helpful, paying attention to detail and food choices. Most of all, it was deliciously prepared ala Napoli style! While there, ask Joanne, the waitress from the Netherlands, about the new âMonkey Squeezedâ iced tea bottle! Sheâll explain further ;)All in all, this was our âgo toâ place for a good and tasty meal. We loved it!

Cafe Viejo Restaurant was founded in 2003 by three italian brothers who moved to Costa Rica with the dream of sharing their gastronomic culture both the locals and the tourists of this tropical paradise. We serve all kinds of italian food, from traditiona
Wanting pasta for dinner (or at least Italian) we tried Cafe Viejo and were not disappointed. Service was excellent and food was great. My son had the lobster pasta and to his great surprise actually got a whole lobster (conveniently cracked open) on top of his pasta. Great taste and the lobster was cooked excellent. The other pasta dishes we had were nice as well, but the lasagna was even better. And the one pizza we ordered was also good.Yes, the place is pricey (talk New York prices, the bill for 4 was $102 US), but when the food is this good I'm not complaining. Thanks for your review Robert :)We are very glad you and your family enjoyed your dinner at Cafe Viejo, we hope to see you again next time you are in town! By far the best food in Cahuita. Probably the best and most authentic Italian food in Costa Rica. Filippo and Marika are wonderful hosts and serve up crispy pizza's, homemade pasta and delicious fresh seafood. Stay in their hotel Marfi Inn so you can enjoy their hospitality all day (including a fantastic breakfast). Grazie mille for a fantastic week!

Pizzeria with wood oven. Italian restaurant with typical dishes of Romagna cuisine, handmade pasta, grilled meat, lobster, seafood, fried seafood. Vegetarian, vegan and celiac options.
We ate here 4 nights in a row because it was that good. One of us has a house in Tuscany, it was comparable to many restaurants in Italy! We loved the la Gorda pizza, the ravioli and the homemade pasta with creamy mushroom sauce in particular. They were delicious. Great service, the waiter was very attentive and the chef was very nice - we tasted his special Panama spicy sauce. It was great - we would have bought it if he were selling. Definitely recommend, one not to miss in Cahuita!

Soda/Restaurant in the heart of Cocles. Lunch and Diner available all the week . Special day plate depending what kind of fish is catching in the morning. Only fresh food cooking at moment. Pizza at night. May and June open only for dinner
We visited this restaurant after seeing reviews online, however it was a disappointing visit. The complimentary soup was tasty, along with the bruschetta which was very nice.I had the bolognase pasta which was bland and didn't have much flavour. My boyfriend had the fish which was drenched in coconut sauce and overpowering any other flavour.Service was good and very attentive.

I don't usually write reviews but this time I felt compelled. The meal was simply delicious. The owners Francesca and Danilo are the perfect hosts. The food is a reflection of Danilo's passion for cooking. Real Italian food. Fresh ingredients and homemade pasta and seafood cooked to perfection. These two really know what they're doing!
