Sunset Pizza has the best food and their service is spectacular. The owner Peter comes to each table to talk to his patrons and find out if they like their meal. Such a quaint little place. I recommend people to try this place.

Hubby and I were in town for a concert at Mohegan Sun and needed a good, non-extortionate place for dinner. Valentino's in Ledyard filled the bill. They are a pizza place up front but a full service Italian restaurant in back. Portions are huge, and luckily we brought the cooler with an ice pack to bring the remainder home. Everything comes with a salad to start, and it's a good salad with mixed greens and assorted olives. Hubby had the zuppa de pesce, totally delicious in a yummy red sauce, all the shellfish perfectly fresh. I had Veal Casa Blanca which I wasn't crazy about, but it was my mistake in ordering since the brandy cream sauce made the pasta thick and gummy. An otherwise delicious dish, it had three big pieces of sauteed veal and three giant shrimp on pasta. For dessert we split a cannoli which was very good as well. We didn't order drinks this trip but have in the past. There's an adequate wine list. My recommendation is not to get anything in a white sauce, go with red, and you will have a happy experience.
Getting a little tired of some of the offerings at the casino, we decided to try this new addition, located just inside the Tanger Outlets. The menu isn't real wide, but there's still plenty of options from pizza and salads to several entrees. My wife wasn't super hungry so she has the Bean Soup, and thought it was fantastic. I had chicken parmesan, one of the daily specials. The chicken was done very well, although the sauce had a little more kick than my simple tastes are used to. Service from Keith was outstanding, though. He's quite a character. We'll definitely be back to try a few more dishes next time we visit.

Regina Pizza is one of my favorite things to eat on the go when at Foxwoods and the Pizza was a five... the staffing situation on the other hand was so bad I thought of giving this a 2... but then that isn't fair to my love of Regina Pizza! Get your act together and tell your staff when you are having a problem staffing that they should bicker about it behind the cash register. We went late and there were only three people in line and it took more than 15 minutes to process three people's orders and check them out. One didn't speak very good English and could not understand what the person in front of us was ordering they had to point and the woman was so upset she threw her hands up in the air and just walked away. Then the pizza maker was talking to the cashier and they were sharing their dirty laundry for all to hear. WOW not a good experience.

The restaurant has been recently remodeled with new floors. But we don't go for the decor. This where the locals go eat good food. The pizza is really good with plenty of toppings and a crispy outside, chewy inside crust. Sandwiches and grinders are made to order and the staff is always willing to see what they can do to accommodate special orders. Fridays are a real treat because they offer fish and chips. The fish is perfectly cooked and the "chips" are thick cut steak fries that are well cooked. No soggy middles like at some other places. The staff has always been cheerful and friendly when I am there. Prompt and courteous this is a family owned place and you can see the pride the family has in working there. It's not a chain and the quality shows. They are located on Route 2 near Foxwoods casino but if you don't feel like driving they will deliver.

Golden Pizza is a great restaurant serving Greek and Italian cuisine. The restauranthas fourteen to twenty booths and tables to seat any party. My favorite entree is their House Special Pizza which has a variety of meats and vegetables. We've had it at the restaurant as well as take home. My vote is eating at the restaurant because the pizza is served right out of the oven and is tasty to my palette. The staff is courteous and friendly . They make you feel like you're their only customer and they are willing to go the extra mile to make your dining experience one you will remember!

Stopped in after a long long absence from the area, and was very happy to see that the quality service and value are still very good. I always plan on trying something new but keep getting the lasagna - just cant keep away from it.

Food was expensive but very good. The staff we encountered seemed distracted and miserable and the environment was cold, with seemingly little effort expended on making it warm or inviting. As another reviewer mentioned, we also felt rushed. Despite this, I would most likely return here.

We recently were at Foxwoods and decided to go to High Rollers to bowl and eat lunch. The facility was very clean and everything is very well maintained. The service was excellent. Everyone was very helpful and polite. The food was pretty good, and the pricing was fair. The bowling is great since they offer bumpers for the kids, as well as a ball ramp to help little kids roll the ball down the lane. We had a great time and will definitely be back.
