Discover Restaurants offering the best Pizza food in Pondicherry, Union Territory of Pondicherry, India. Pondicherry’s bougainvilleas, crumbling cathedrals and leafy boulevards might occasionally make you wonder if you’re in the south of France instead of a former French colony. But it's also unmistakably Indian, with colorful festivals, the famous monument of Aayi Mandapam, and the Sri Aurobindo Ashram. Quiet beaches stretch north and south from town, good for swimming and sunrise strolls.

I had dinner with my family at Tantos last weekend. Food here lacks flavour and appeal. Its very average but its been marketed well. One of the dishes we had was a mediterranean pizza. And there were no hint of fresh tomatoes or basil topping on it. The pizza just had a topping of sliced onions and olives, the vegetarian lasagna was just a mush, couldn't tell if there were sheets of pasta in it. Though, the service is fast and the staff is genial.
Nice cool new cafe on canal road between White Town and Black Town, towards the Muslim quarter, this cafe is not far from the heritage areas, and close to Cazy Street - worth checking out - and I like this cafe for the best cafe I've had in Pondicherry. Clean, stylish, modern, with a large menu including salads, international cuisine and local dishes, this has a hip bike theme, and friendly staff. Prices reasonable, and you can sit and look out at the world go by.

Auro pizza is a very very small restaurant which serves lipsmacking and delicious wood fired pizzas!!! Place is a bit difficult to find since its not very prominent and big. But its right on the main road at the beginning of J N Road. They have good options in both veg n non veg. Its basically a family which prepares and serves the pizza freshly made in front of you. We also went to their kitchen and saw the preparation.Must visit atleast once if you love pizzas. Very reasonably priced and excellent quality stuff.

Located at the top of Corbelli hotel, which is at a busy party of the city. The restaurant itself did not have a name board of its own, so we had to step to hotel to check, who confirmed the restaurant. At around 7.30 pm on a saturday evening, we were the only ones in the restaurant. This along with the rusty decor got us a bit apprehensive, but we decided to give it a shot. The pizza and pasta, on their own, made it all worth it. We wanted to taste some good wine and the owner brought some of his own red wine, which was surprisingly chilled. He did explain that it was due to the hot and humid weather. The wine was a bit watery, but was quite good. The owner, an old italian man, did look a bit tipsy throughout our visit, busy with the cigarette and tv, but was quite happy to have a conversation.

Along the Goubert Avenue or Beach Road in Pondicherry, you can find several cafes and snack joints. The mood is relaxed, especially in the evening when the whole place is swarming with tourists and locals who come for fresh air.We liked the menu of Suciliy's. It had all kinds of junk as well as non-junk food, along with a good choice of beer and mocktails. The service did take some time but we were in no hurry. It was also full at that time. The food was very nice and the drinks added to the chilled out mood. We looked at the crowds of people along the sea shore and as the sun set, we joined them after having our full.

My boyfriend and I visited Neww Farm Fresh for dinner. It is located in a quiet little lane away from the humdrum of the main road in Pondicherry. The place was well decorated with fairy lights for Christmas and New Years. No loud music here so you can actually hear the other person speak while you wait for your food! We spotted a whacky chicken flavoured chicken pizza on the menu and went for that. It was absolutely brilliant! The pizza crust was thin and light. The toppings included chicken chettinad with curry leaves, caramelized onions and some spices. Do not forget to season this pizza with some oregano - tasted heavenly with it! Decently priced pizzas as well and the restaurant staff was really sweet. I managed to eye some other pizzas in the restaurant and the ingredients looked really fresh. We stayed for a very short while otherwise, I would have definitely made a second trip to this place. Definitely recommend this restaurant!

We bake delicious authentic Italian pizzas with homemade ingredients that are freshly prepared in our kitchen everyday. Our pizzas go up up to three feet in size and have very very generous servings of cheese and toppings. We give you the best value for m
The place must have been good at some time in the past,, that probably explains the rush to find a table in a restaurant so big spread over three floors... we waited for nearly 45 minutes to get a table... that too after shouting because the person checking the waiting list was allowing groups after us to break the que... the service was that bad.. anyways after the entry the waiting for the food was again another 45 minutes.. once we were told there were no shakes as the ice had run out.. but after five minutes we saw the person at the counter making shakes.. after we pointed this out they took our order for shakes !!! the food was ok but surely not worth the long wait and the efforts to find a table,, pls look for other places which I am sure good food,,
