I work at the fairfield inn and suites of wilkes barre, i called to order a hoagie and fries for delivery to my work , there is a ten dollar minimum on delivery so i made sure it was a ten dollar total , plus of course i would have tipped, and also i was always refering my guest to order from their establishment, i called to place my oder and the woman said very rudly , theres a ten dollar minimum and i said to her, isnt that ten dollars she said yes , but that far for a hoagie and fries, i myself as a customer service specialist go out of my way for my guests no matter the request, so i thought that was very rude, also i always tip generously and always give their establishment for referals, no longer will i do that and no longer will i order from that place.
Old forge is awesome! Round really good too. Only comes in large 8 cut and is thicker and slices are huge! Just ask for extra wing sauce, they are not very saucy. Love it though!!!
OK, nothing fancy. but don't let the average rating discourage you. Neighborhood take-out pizza parlor, no seating and looks vaguely abandoned, but by far the best pizza I have had in Wilkes-Barre to date. This probably has as much to do with my pizza preference as anything else but I love the thin crispy crust swamped with an abundance of saucy cheese, or cheesy sauce. I'm talking about the round here, not the weird square trays of bread with a little tomato sauce smeared on top that the locals call pizza. My mother-in-law made me eat pizza at Norm's a couple of times, her favorite, and I wanted to puke. That isn't pizza. But what do you expect in a valley where they call something "barbecue" that has never been on a grill or touched by smoke? Heyna? I only tried the pizza but also saw a rave on line for the wings. Worth a try. Also worth noting that since Florio's is in the Wyoming Valley, sort of like being in the twilight zone, and appears not to have been remodeled since about 1953, you can afford to try everything. Price for a small pizza here is about what you pay for a glass of water in the developed world.
Went for my uncle's birthday.Great time, excellent food and service, and very friendly staff.Great portions and value. Fish is excellent, Lobster is too. Lasagna also very good. Others had salad and they looked amazing too. Definitely need to stop in, you won't be sorry!
Pizza has lost its original quality! The cuts are smaller, the pizza is dry and somewhat tasteless. This used to be the best pizza in the Valley! You couldn't even get a parking space ,let alone a seat inside in the 1960s and 70s. I know times, they are a changin, but quality should not

Where to eat Italian food in Plains: The Best Restaurants and Bars
This little corner of Italian Pizza and good Italian is not to be missed. When your hungry you want good food , not fast food. Ninos does it right. Meatball sandwiches are really tasty , and sausage is not fatty. A must have if you are in the vicinity.

The absolutely worst place to represent the people of The Valley .Both in food and attitude. Fifty years ago was the famous home of great pizza. Then became a place that would not serve long haired adolescents etc. Arrogant owners and their family get what they deserve by selling overpriced terrible pizza . Thankfully , great pizza is now available in many places on the West Side that are cordial , pleasant , and deserve our business.

Thin, hand stretched, flavorful crust with a unique sweet tomato sauce, and a delicious cheese blend at a reasonable price. Best pizza ever...our adult sons that live out of state now make this their first stop on their way home to visit for a "pizza fix"Other items on the menu are all good pasta choices and they have a friendly and attentive staff make sure that you are totally satisfied before you leave. Great place to go over and over again!

Leggio's Pizzeria & Italian Ristorante Provides Pizza, Restaurant, Pasta, Seafood Dishes, Stromboli, Salads, Homemade Soups, Authentic Italian Pasta Dishes, Sandwiches, Veal Chicken to the Wilkes Barre, PA Area.
Leggioâs in Wilkes-Barre has delicious Italian/Sicilian food. The owner originally hailed from Sicily, is friendly & polite,& goes around checking on his customers. Waitstaff is friendly & courteous. Leggioâs also has an outside deck to enjoy fresh air during summer weather & also accommodates for parties indoors in a side room where the bar is located. Iâve never had a bad meal in all the years Iâve been going to Leggioâs.
