Wonderful pizzeria recommended by Rick Steves. No web site to my knowledge. Phone: 0187 818395 ne:
Thrilled to have excellent gluten free choices. My husband and I went back the next night and ordered the same two pizzas and were not disappointed! Even had a GF beer!
Inside seating only. Huge noise from ice cream fridges in the dining area. Pasta with walnut sauce was tasty, veal with lemon was not (there was a fresh green salad with it though). Dessert was out of the freezer or some other pack. Family run but slapdash service. Relatively cheap at 18 euro for pasta and main, and no canned music. Best avoided though.
The small Paradiso restaurant is pleased to offer typical Ligurian cuisine mixed with typical Sicilian cuisine. We have dishes for celiacs. Courtesy and customer care our priorities. come and visit us!

You can book for an inside table (air conditioned), or get there early or wait for a street table. We booked an inside table, but when we got there at 19:30, there were street tables available, so we grabbed one. There are seats available while you wait and by 20:30 there were 4 couples waiting for perhaps 20 mins each. Not sure why we all want to eat on a busy street, but we do.All the food we saw looked lovely. We decided on a pasta - fest. We shared a house special - slices of pasta in a pesto sauce. One each would be too much unless you are really hungry. It was gorgeous and we cleared the plate. Then we both had the seafood ravioli with shrimp and sea bass. We washed it down with a carafe of the house local red (not subtle but very quaffable). No deserts for us, but I finished things off with a double espresso and a pine nut liquor. The total bill was â¬71. The service was slick and friendly.Superb.

La Taverna Friendly Restaurant, great service, friendly staff, high quality cuisine, where you can enjoy excellent fresh fish and seafood.
We tried this restaurant after a recommendation from our hotel. Based on other places we ate, this was just average. They appeared to be understaffed and there was only one waiter responsible for the entire inside portion. It took over 10 minutes to get someone to notice us and put in a drink order. Then at least another 5 to 10 minutes to get our drinks (just a draft beer and a spritz). We ordered 4 oysters which I donât recommend. They were very small and my husband and I both felt queasy later in the evening after eating. We both had the spaghetti with seafood in aluminum packet. It was ok but limited amounts of seafood compared to other places we ate. In summary, there are better places to eat in the area.

The newly opened M.G.Bar located in a side street, very characteristic of via Roma, with tables outside to dine in peace meals, breakfasts, cocktails at reasonable prices .
I visited MG bar for lunch with my husband and a friend while on vacation from North Carolina. The employees there were very warm and friendly. They even helped me practice my Italian! We had pizza and pasta with pesto. Both were delicious! Definitely worth visiting this bar!!
the small Piccolo Paradiso restaurant is pleased to offer you typical local dishes (pizza, panigacci) or alternatively succulent Sicilian specialties.
A real, very small family restaurant. Mama is in the kitchen and her son is serving. We arrived as first guests in the evening and were not sure, if the restaurant was really open. It was. A table was prepared for us on the terrace with a nice view on the little village square and church. The food was delicious. Especially the seafood antipasti were great. The children had pasta then, we had meat and fish, both very well. Nothing to complain and really nice hosts.

We were passing along the highway on our way to Genoa and realized it was dinner time. Luckily my boyfriend noticed the town from the road and we found this restaurant on trip advisor...so glad we did! It ended up being one of our best dining experiences in Italy. For one thing, it's not touristy. There's no English on the menu and that's always a good sign. The menu is not elaborate--lots of pizzas, some pastas and anti pasta dishes--but it had a perfect selection for us. We had one pasta plate and one pizza, and a tiramasu. It was all fabulous. So good, great portion sizes, and quality ingredients. Everything felt like it had been prepared with love. To top it off, the service was very fast and exceptionally nice. The people working there were lovely and took good care of us. And last but not least--the price. It was the first time in Italy I didn't feel ripped off. The quality and quantity to price ratio was so good that we left feeling like overall it was the best restaurant experience we'd had in a long time. Very good, can't recommend it enough!!!

Really delicious focaccia and cheese filled fry bread. I would eat this every single day! We also ate the chickpea flatbread which was very good. A must if you are in Monterosso.

Well, we could not agree on which pizza to get so we decided we would each order the one we liked and have the left-overs the next day. That did not happen. The pizzas were so yummy that we each ate the entire pizza! That was a first for me. Both pizzas very fresh and the cheese was great. Crust was cooked perfectly. Their beer was really cold and refreshing! We watched their nutella calzoni go past to another table but unfortunately we had no room left.
