Specialitè " arrosticini"
This is a good restaurant in Pescara Vecchia, have been a few times now, on the recommendation of a friend, who raves about their white chocolate tiramisu. As a veggie, there are plenty of options for me on the menu, and the food is typically very good. They have a mixed menu, with primi, second and also pizza. The last time we went as a large group, and had the house antipasto, which was spectacular! Plates of meats and cheeses, along with lots of preserves and honey. followed by some hot dishes of local specialities. My friends then gorged themselves on arrosticini while i held back for desert :)they have a good desert menu here, with pictures, which is great for anyone visiting the area (menus available in english also). i had a nuttella and nut cake of kinds, which was beautiful, while my friends, of course, had their white chocolate tiramisu :) my husband went for the standard tiramisu, which also is one of the best ones we've tried. as for the restaurant itself, its nicely situated in Pescara Vecchia. Maybe doesn't have some of the atmosphere of a few of the other restaurants around, but it doesn't have their price tag either. was good food, for quite a reasonable price, and the service was good, efficient and friendly while not being in your face. All in all, ill definitely eat here again

I was there with my Family last Sunday.Visitors are greeted by friendly Chef. I don't speak Italian and menu didn't told me too much :)I asked the Chef of dishes which recommends. He asked whether we prefer fish or meat. We ate two delicious dishes for ravioli with ricotta and spinach in tomato sauce and veal with rocket and parmesan cheese. My husband got the gnocchi in pesto with rocket salad with seafood and a plate of fish and seafood-fried.. We get also salat, bread and unlimited water sparkling and still. We was with 2,5 years old son. Chef amused him infused various delicacies. Delicious food, great service, great atmosphere and for that bill 27 euros. Fully recommends

Sunday lunch menu â¬20, antipasti and 2 courses wine and water inc, unless they forgot to charge me! The fettucini starter was quite nice, I enjoyed it although there was far too much. The main course was Arrosto Mistp, a huge plateful of meat accompanied by a nice simple salad. Absolutely no finesse, just lots of meat. They like mutton here in Abruzzo, I am not so keen. There was a good sausage and a couple of thin lamb chops to be found under the mountain of mutton. A carnivoreâs delight, I could only eat about a third of it. Chef comes to chat with everyone, friendly service and a free grappa. Nice restaurant, and they try hard to please.

A wonderful restaurant near the university. It's a Pizzeria and you can create you own pizza if you like. After my opinion a pizzeria has to have draft bear, and this one have. We ate very good and had a wonderful evening together. The staff was friendly and open minded.

This restaurant is hidden quite far from the city center. But it looks very appealing from the outside. The decorations are quite stunning, very retro. When we arrived at 7pm we were alone in the restaurant, but as 8pm was approaching more people came. At first we weren't noticed by the employees so I had to go inside to attract some attention. I was surprised that the staff spoke english which I don't see very often here in Italy. We ordered two pizzas, marinara and diavola. I really wanted to try the wholemeal pizza dough and I must say that It was delicious just how I like it. It was fluffy on the edges and super thin in the middle ! We also had gnocchi porcini and they were really good as well. We also had bruschetta miste as an appetizer. It was okay but nothing spectacular, I would appreciate to top them with fresh italian tomatoes rather than passata but that's just personal preference.I guess the only downside for me would be the service. They didn't look like they enjoy their work very much and I didn't feel comfortable when they kept circling our table to see if we're finished. I understand that you check on the table a couple times per night but not every minute or so. I really felt pressured to finish up my plate.Hello, thanks for choosing us, we are happy to have met your expectations and have given you a pleasant experience. We are sorry to read your words of dissatisfaction with our room service.Come back soon to visit us :) maybe to improve your general opinion on our Staff ;)

Last Sunday we were looking for la Riseta. We expected a full restaurant, but we found a busy take away. They made room for us, a party of five. We were advised very well and we waited patiently. When we got the pizzas I was very excited. This was the best pizza ever and we eat pizza every week. We all had different pizzas and they were alll excellent. Incredible, they should open a real restaurant! After a while the chef came in and we all applauded due to the excellent pizzas. I hope we can come back sometime!

On the outside there are building works and scaffolding surrounding this very small and unattractive building. On the inside is the most delicious pizza ever at incredible prices!!I had the Proscuitto Crudo and my partner had the Napoli. The dough was so fresh and flavoursome and the toppings such good quality and delicious.Aside from some âfried startersâ and a few non-homemade desserts, this place is ONLY pizza. But what super delicious pizza it is! Our 2 pizzas plus 250ml red wine, water and a tiramisu were only 23!euros.And the owners are so lovely - they did everything they could to understand our lack of Italian!High recommend for a casual pizza pit stop!!
