First thing you notice is that the location is a real antique Tuscan "podere" (farm) standing on a green hillside, next impression is the minimalist antique\modern rustic mix the interior style expresses and the lovely country manners of the family that owns and personally runs this little Tuscan pearl. Last but not least, you will have to love the near perfect wine selection (prices are extremely honest) and the short but absolutely perfect selection of "historically correct" pizza styles. We absolutely adore this place and we plan on coming back very soon. P.s. If you go in the warm season you can eat outside, under the brick patio overlooking green rolling hills spoitted with the occasional "Chianina" cow...

After visiting Borro we stumbled on this great restaurant. While the menu had english translations i would say this a restaurant italian families would use and less of a tourist "dinning experience "We have little italian and the staff had little english but we had a fantastic lunch. Our starters were not just delicious but plentiful and the steaks we had were the best we had in italy(a delicious 700g t-bone for 24.50 !)All in all delicious food at reasonable prices and definatly one to recommend
Pizza was great, we ordered 9 of them. 5 we ate there, 4 we took to go. The owner was very friendly to us and had a cheerful attitude.

A small farm-restaurant immersed in the Valdarno countryside, near the Setteponti Road, a few kilometers from Arezzo. A simple menu made of selected dishes that change daily depending on what the land, the seasons and the short supply chain can offer. Onl
It is such a pity when lovely places like La Casa del Buono, are so poorly run and spoil a potentially good dinner. We came for dinner as a group of 9 during a week evening. The place was far from being full but nevertheless it took forever to catch the waitressâ attention to come and get our order and bring our drinks. The food came out of the kitchen so slowly that by the time we got the appetizers our drinks needed to be refilled and we were all ready to leave. Although the menu was creative and the food of good quality, the whole experience is one we would not want to repeat.

Delicous cold cuts at first, then pasta as primi piatti. Very delicious. Waitresses were so nice and helpful. From the terrace very beautiful view over Tuscan fields. Noticed that many locals just came for a takeaway pizzas.

This restaurant was recommended to us. However, although it was not busy - in fact it was completely empty - we were told it was full. A group of young men were hanging around the bar and we got the impression that the waiter would rather spend time with his friends than serve diners. It was 7.30. The restaurant is huge and we could see no reservation signs on any of the tables. We were made to feel very unwelcome and would not attempt to go there again. Readers of TA will know that I have posted many favourable reviews but not this time.

Visited this restaurant twice during our vacation in Tuscany and I must say that the quality and level of this restaurant is far higher than one could imagine: Tuscan dishes prepared with excellent ingredients and a touch of creativity, competent and friendly staff, a fairly priced wine list and a great view over the surrounding hills.

We chose le Cantine because it was highly rated on TripAdvisor. We waited 1h15 to be served. The pizzas were very basic, we guessed not home made tomato sauce. The meat was very poor quality, greasy and over salted, the fries served with it were like those of a cheap fast food restaurant. The salad was basic and dry; inedible.

The simplicity of Tuscan flavours, the perfumes of our valley can be found in the dishes of the Osteria, the youthful country restaurant, perfect for dinner with friends or a romantic date. At the Osteria every occasion is a special one.If you come once,
Amazing traditional pretty restaurant in the village square of a small Tuscan village. They accommodated us for a late dinner (9.30pm) as we only just arrived to our B&B nearby. The menu was quite large with varied options, and prices were very reasonable. We ordered a delicious, out of this world truffle & porcini mushroom pasta! It was soo good but portion size a bit small. The truffle pizza was also very delicious, base nice and thin and crispy! The lamb ragout pasta was also good. House wine was nice and good value and they offer carafes. The waitress even offered to keep our food warm when one of us had to put a child to bed. We went again another night and ordered an amazing meat platter which was perfectly cooked and juicy. The service was again very good. Overall, this is the best tasting restaurant in the village out of the 2 restaurants there (we felt the other restaurant has a nicer panorama view from the terrace but the food is not as good).
