Moon Dog pie house serves authentic made to order New York Thin and Chicago deep dish pizzas in an eclectic, funky and family-friendly environment. Full menu includes sandwiches, salads, pasta, wings, and desserts. Expanded bar area with 13 beers on tap.
Weâve been having dinner at Moon Dog Pie House for 3 years. My husband and 5 year old son always spilt a pizza. One half with no sauce, the other half with sauce. We go there about 1 time a month. Tonight, a Monday night with many open tables, we were told the cook said they were too busy to do âno sauceâ on half the pizza. Itâs never been an issue before but tonight it was. We cancelled our order and found another restaurant nearby that was more than happy to accommodate our request. I am terribly sorry to hear about your experience Holly. Please feel free to reach lut to me so I may attempt to make things right. Kamus McNair (General Manager)

Their stromboli is absolutely the best. Calzones are also good. Pizza is good. Their salads are so-so, nothing spectacular there, but everything else is good so why order salad? Service can be a little slow at times, but they are always very friendly. Great family owend place.

With so many chain restaurants in the area, it is a treat to visit a family owned business. Jackie (Luca's spouse) was our server and she took care of our party of 5.I enjoyed the Chicken Luca with lemon garlic over Fettuccini and everyone else had a great meal.Wonderful relaxing experience. We will definitely come back to visit.

The name of this restaurant does not do it justice it is not just a pizzeria, though the people I have been there with that love pizza love the pizza here. This is a much better Italian Restaurant & Beyond! I am originally from the Northeast where Italian food is very real and very good, there are serious deficiencies in the quality of Italian food here in Jacksonville. But not at Picasso's! They make meatballs that can compete with the best I've ever had, their sauce while a little bit spicy for me, is fantastic. But here's the kicker, being from the New York area and loving pastrami sandwiches I have been hunting for a decent pastrami sandwich since I arrived in Jacksonville 5 years ago, and until last night I had no success. But last night I had the pastrami sandwich, or correction, the 1/2 of pastrami sandwich, which was the size of a good size pastrami sandwich anywhere else, and found that it was good enough to compete with most of the pastrami sandwiches I've had in the Northeast. To the owners of Picasso's I would say thank you! I would also say, while I don't put your pastrami sandwich in the same class as Katz's Deli in New York City, I think it is better than everything I've had almost everywhere else! I hope you take this as a compliment oh, it is meant to be the highest compliment. So in closing, all I can say to those who have not been to Picasso's, get there as soon as you can, be hungry, and enjoy some of the best food you're going to have in the Jacksonville area. Finally, one last thing, the wait staff is absolutely perfect.

We are a small family owned pizzeria. Our menu is small so we can concentrate on fresh quality food. We'd love for you to give us a try! We offer dine-in, carry out & free delivery (limited area).
We've been trying all the pizzeria's around us over the last year, and Vito's is our favorite by far. The folks working there are really friendly, pizza is made fast and is delicious! Prices are very reasonable too. We've always done carry-out, but will likely dine in at some point. Only downside for us is that it is a 20-minute drive to Vito's from were we live, but it's worth the drive, even though the pizza isn't steaming hot by the time we get home. Worth the trip every time!!!Hello, and thank you for taking the time to leave such a positive review of your experience with us.!We are a small family owned and operated pizzeria and truly appreciate our customers! We would love to have you dine in with us sometime.â¤We hope you have a great Thanksgiving and look forward to seeing you soon!

Don't let the name fool you, there's so much more to NYC Meatballs than meatballs!!!!The hand-tossed pizza is amazing! The wings are so good, they have a cult following. The garlic knots, fried pickles and mozzarella sticks are awesome appetizers. But the insider secret is that NYC Meatballs is the only place in Clay County, and one of the very few in Northeast Florida, to serve authentic poutine. Being married to a Quebecer, our family knows poutine and NYC is the place to go for the real stuff!!!!!!!In fact, we've never been disappointed with anything we tried there. The owner is super friendly and very community focused. Service is great! They have recently expanded to keep up with the demand. It looks great and there's tons more seating. Definitely the place to go in Oakleaf!

Looking for some local craft beer and heard about this place. WoW what a surprise find. The craft beer selection was numerous, and hit the spot. Decided on the Swamp Chicken Pizza, and it was AMAZING. Service was great and the décor was unique. You could by drawings from local artists. I would recommend to everyone they need to come in and give this place a try.

Tucked away in a little strip mall on Blanding, there's one of the best Mom and Pop style Italian restaurants in Northeast Florida. The garlic knots that come with all pasta meals (or can be ordered on their own) are wickedly delicious. They are homemade and amazing! Just the knots alone would make you want to return. The pasta dishes were amazing!!! My husband had the chicken parmesan. If had a delicate breading that let the chicken be the star of the dish. Delicious!I ordered one of the specials - Basil Chicken and Shrimp. The sauce was an alfredo with spinach and tomatoes in it. Wow! This was easily the best pasta dish I can ever remember eating in a restaurant. And it was huge! The staff is super friendly and attentive. Much to my delight, it was also BYOB. And the neighboring strip mall has a grocery store with a good selection. To make the whole package even better, their prices are excellent! It cost less than a meal for 2 at a chain Italian restaurant and was 100% better.
