Pausa pranzo con un gruppetto ...abbiamo preso sia kebab che focaccia che aveva un impasto molto buono. Il kebab generalmente buono. Ci sono mancate le patatine, erano finite... Peccato perché con cinque euro sarebbero state comprese anche quelle!!!

Abbiamo cenato una sera in 4, e purtroppo le pizze non erano eccezionali arrivate un po' freddine...Ho provato a prendere il classico cannolo siciliano ma purtroppo non sapeva di nulla.

I arrived to this pizzeria at 4 o'clock after a long walk in the mountain to find it open and ready to serve when almost every other place in the town is closed for lunch break (Italian style). The Egyptian gu that own the restaurant can speak English too which made everything easier, and man he filled our stomachs me and my friends for a very affordable price. The pizzeria is open until late (11 o'clock) and is the only place that sell beers at this time in the night in the whole of Omenga.

Best pizza we had in a long time. Not only food but also the service was good. Full house on a Monday evening with locals who enjoyed the evening out.

A relatively inexpensive restaurant with very extensive list of pizzas plus some other menu choices. The glass-fronted restaurant also offers a nice outdoor terrace (although anyone bothered by passive smoking from other tables should beware that Italian restaurants seem to allow smoking in outdoor areas) with lake views and a large air conditioned interior. There is also free Wifi.

Obviously this is a favourite local restaurant, we were the only tourists and were made welcome and offered excellent food and wine. The pasta was superb, in fact all of the food was pretty good, and the price was more than reasonable. Check it out!

We went there for lunch various times. The service is excellent and fast. Le ragazze sono molto gentile. I can especially recommend the "insalata Salero" but also their rice and Pasta dishes are very tasty and they serve Pizza as well. Whenever we visit il Lago d'Orta we make sure to stop at Salero 16.
