Went for lunch on a Saturday. Server was great and attentive. Pizza was average and it took quite a while. They don't have anything other than soda and iced tea, so if you have a toddler, you're stuck with water. The restrooms were disgusting and they look like they were never cleaned since the place opened. Don't know how they pass health inspection.

Phone ordered pie...upon entry to p/u conversation ensued between 2 employees with my pie in hand...asked if there was a problem.....response NO......eggplant/mushroom right??..now pie went back to prep table and eggplant added...told it was cooked but not put on....if I did not question he was NOT going to tell me......and I would have been charged $4.00 more...â¦.was told I would not be charged for eggplant......I'm a Jersey girl......very disappointed in the deception attempt......will be slow in returning if at all.....

We visited on the suggestion of my sister's friends for a belated birthday dinner for my sister. The place itself is pretty modern...does not make you think "Italian Restaurant" but the food is definitely good Italian. The veal parmagan sandwich was huge but could have used a bit more sauce, the ravioli was good & enough to bring some home, the linquine in clam sauce was good with lots of clams & a great portion & thespinach roll was interesting & good. We will be back.

Sudden desire for pizza instead of cooking at home after busy day brought us to Josephs for 4th or 5th time. Ordered the 14" Josephs special pizza, a Calzone and a bowl of ham & bean soup. Most of the pizza came home for lunch tomorrow.Food is very good, wine by the glass appropriate for menu and service was fine. It is definitely worth a visit when in the mood for classic Italian pizza and specialties.

We decided to try this restaurant even though we had heard numerous reports that the hostess was rude and less than welcoming. We did not experience that. The young lady that met us at the door was friendly and welcoming. The restaurant has a casual atmosphere, it serves only wine and beer, and has an extensive menu.If you are looking for large portions and are not concerned about presentation, taste, or imaginative dishes this is the place for you. The chicken piccata was chicken fingers, breaded and deep fried and then covered in a lemon and mushroom sauce. It was less than appealing. The eggplant rollatini was served in a pie plate. There was only a very few slices of eggplant covered with copious amounts of cheese and some sauce. There was way too much cheese and very little eggplant. It was not recognizable as rollatini. Both of the entrees were accompanied with a side of pasta and, while the sauce was tasty and well made, the pasta was not well drained which resulted in a watery mess in the bowl. A side of rabbi was tasty but very over cooked. If you are interested in presentation and flavor there are many other better Italian alternatives in Venice. But if you are looking for large portions of food this is the place to go.

At Mama Leone's, we love sharing our family recipes with our customers. Our recipes have been in the family for generations. Please stop by and spend some time with us.
We hadn't been to Mama Leones for over 10 years & was hoping for the best. Still not to our liking. Most people love their food, that is why they are still in business all these years. We apologize for your less than desirable experience with us. We always like to keep improving, but you didn't share with us what made your visit "not to your liking" so we can make corrections? We are assuming you were not pleased with our way of seasoning or creating sauces? As you know, each restaurant is different and each has their own style. We are sorry that our food is not for you.

Catered food was not in category of catered food - it was as good as homemade and all 22 Italian family members agreed! Fresh and high quality ingredients created delicious food - rice balls, sausage and broccoli rabe, chicken a'la angelo, antipasto tray, bread - all delicious and made our family reunion special! Thank you Angelo's!!!

Briandi's is a family-owned restaurant in Nokomis, Florida serving Italian dishes passed down through generations of homemade cooking. When you sit at our tables, you will experience freshly made veal and chicken cutlet dishes such as our picatta or marsa
As good as any great Italian kitchen. Overflowing plates, fresh made bread, friendly staff, meatballs to die for, home made sausage that is a mouthgasm. Moto bene! My son grew up in NJ where almost everybody is Italian. As such we know great Italian from run of the mill. He and his family live in NC. No such thing as good Italian in their area. We all had dinner last night at Briandi's. They tried to finish their dinners it was soooo good but they failed. Plates were too generous. Even my grandson, age 13, who is the pickiest eater on the planet had a meatball parmigana sandwhich. His mom makes meatballs that he likes. That is the only meatball he will eat. Well guess what: he ordered and tasted Briandi's meatball sandwhich. He went wild over how good it was. We asked for a piece and he would not share. It must have been great!

We were greeted warmly by two staff members who were outside as we approached the restaurant. What a great welcome. We decided to eat inside, but they have quite a few tables available for people who enjoy alfresco dining. Our waiter promptly greeted us bringing a basket filled with their delicious bread and chopped tomatoes to top off the bread. We ordered a large pizza with sausage and arugula. It was delicious! Venice is the âland of pizzaâ because there are so many restaurants that offer it. But, this is the absolute best place to enjoy pizza. And that is not all because we visited this place awhile back and they have a wonderful menu with lots of choices beyond pizza. And all of their food is fantastic. The service is superb. We will definitely return! Hi Michele, we really appreciate your feedback and such kind words! We're looking forward to serving you again.
