Many southern Connecticut pizza joints are Greek. This is southern Connecticut Southern Italian. Excellent pizza. Seafood linguine with red sauce and all the usual entrees. Nothing fancy but fits the bill.

Supreme is that place you go to when you want good food, good pizza, good company. The food is always fresh and and hot and the smiles always genuine. I love the lasagna and the pepperoni pizza.

Went in here after a disappointing visit to the Buckley House. Ordered wings, which were very good! However, a place that has wings in the name of the restaurant should not serve a container of shelf stable Ken's blue cheese dressing, and should never announce to a customer we are out of celery!!!! Seriously wings without celery?!?! The reason we went in was for WINGS! The service was fantastic, the atmosphere....is Asian?! However, my suspicion that the space used to be the Asian restaurant next door was confirmed. Maybe remove the pagoda? All in all, the food and service were good....but they need to up their game a bit!

We came her because of the reputation and because we were on a timeline. Well, both were failures.There were only 5 occupied tables in the restaurant, and it took almost 40 minutes for a grinder. The waitstaff was embarrassed for most of that time. The grinder itself was tasteless even though we asked for tartar sauce to be substituted for mayo. The actual fish was thin, 1/8 inch mostly.A failure in all ways.

We stopped here because the family was hungry. It turns out, this is such a family-friendly restaurant. They were sooo welcoming! Took special attention to food allergies (the whole staff really seemed to care). Even people at the next table over we're talking about how good their pizza was. Highly recommend this place to anyone passing through New London on their travels!!

When people speak about dining out at an Italian Restaurant they rarely experience dining as if they were in Italy. The American influence has changed the Italian restauranteur to cater to the American palate instead of staying true to the Italian culture. Il Pomod'Oro does not waiver in the style that their heritage and customs have been instilled by the owner, Petrit. Their chef, Bruno, has brought his Italian culinary training to America for the first time in Il Pomod'Oro. They don't believe in sacrificing quality, their integrity is paramount to Italian country cuisine. It separates them from any other restaurant in Connecticut. Not one other dining establishment does what they do, the sacrifice is to great. The customer at Il Pomod'Oro is paramount. The staff is sworn to a dining experience like no other, this is the difference. They always make me feel that I am the most important guest in the house. There attention to detail is a benchmark in the industry. Wine Selection, food pairing, cleanliness, from outside to inside they are unrivaled. The menu creativity is what places this restaurant completely apart from a so-called competitor. We like this place in general. We have gone several times to hear live music on the weekends and to order drinks. I think is a well-managed, spacious, and reliable part of the New London scene. Most recently we went for a celebration dinner. We ordered 2 seafood entrees- a sampler platter and snapper. They were good, but we both felt they were a bit overly seasoned and cooked with too much butter. I mean, butter makes food taste delicious, but in this case it seemed like too much of a good thing. Most people say you can't go wrong with their pizzas. I will go back, and I do recommend it.

Once you get through the easily confused waitress and the marijuana smoke in the bathroom, the food isnât that bad. I tried a Thai Peanut pizza and it was pretty good. Prices are fair and beer is cold.

On a raw misty evening we found our usual favorites closed for the season and Trip Advisor lead us here. It being a Monday we had our choice of seats and we were greeted quickly. Our drink orders taken we perused the menu which contained mostly Italian items, but also included Greek, seafood and traditional items. My wife had baked haddock 6 large pieces with salad and baked potato. I had liver served with bacon and onions salad and baked potato. All portions were huge, enough for several meals at home. With some protein the salads would be enough for a meal! A great neighbor hood restaurant, not far off the main drag. Thanks Trip Advisor

My experiences of the Recovery Room are always the best experiences. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. The food is delicious. I have never had a bad meal, even tried some new food cuisines.Even takeout is a great experience. Food is prepared and ready within minutes.
