I can't understand the negative reviews of this place. We drive from Charlotte at least twice a month to eat here. The food is great (I love their soups!), and the service is fantastic! They will make any pizza you request and have always been so friendly to us. I've never seen any sign of negativity. They keep the pizza coming and they keep the tables cleaned. They even stop by our table to make sure everything is ok. Only downside is, I wish they were a little closer to home.

Ordered Bake Meatballs. Nothing fancy...just meatballs with sausage, lots of cheese baked for about 5 mins. Very salty but acceptable. No bread. Served to my table in a "To Go" box. My real concern was the apparent lack of basic food preparation hygiene. The entire staff consisted of 5 young men of which only ONE had gloves. I watched as the young same young man took my order on the front register, answered the phone & prepared my food. No gloves as he handled the meats and the cheese with his bare hands. Not good. Floor of the kitchen area was also in need of attention.

For sometime now, I've been wanting to try the Natural Chicken Grill for their Latin Chicken but today when I pulled up, they had closed. Sign on the door said "Coming Soon Kabab Grill Mediterranean Cafe so I guess Natural Chicken Grill is no more.Jet's Pizza is next door and they had a banner over the door advertising a lucnch special of two slices of pizza and a 20 oz soda. While I normally stay away from National Chains, since I was there and rather than drive elsewhere, I went ahead and went in and ordered the special. After I told the cashier pepperoni would be OK, I sat down and waited.Quite frankly, I expected two slices of regular pizza that had be sitting under a heat lamp and was ready to be served. After 10 minutes, I realized that they were actually cooking the pie to order.Sure enough, shortly thereafter two nice squares of pizza presented themselves. Not the thin NY style but Deep Dish Style.Earlier in my younger days, i worked for awhile for Domino's and my favorite was their Deep Dish Pizza because the used so much butter to coat the baking pan. Same here. The first thing that hits you is the rich buttery taste and then a delightful crust and loads of molten cheese. It assails your taste buds with a great combination of flavor and texture.Portion sizes are large as well but I should have expected the square cut as opposed to slices but no big problem, It got eaten anyway. Will have to give it another try later and will evaluate over time to see if it is consistent before I give it a higher rating.

Good beer on tap and interesting pizzas. Fun for kids to sit by pizza oven and play with dough while pizza's cooking. Be prepared for a longer wait, one oven and the pizza queue can be long.

Pretty good place. The calzone was hot, crisp and so much cheese and sausage. Sausage was surprisingly thin which gave it more taste. Caesar salad was plentiful and fresh. Dressing was great, nice and creamy. Antipasto tasty and so much! Very good.House salad and pizza another great choice.Like the names handed out! Brighton Beach, Coney Island etc. sounds of home!

Johnny Brusco's is proud to bring authentic New York style pizza and a variety of housemade dinners, subs, and more to the neighborhoods we call home. We grew up enjoying and perfecting pizza, and now we're sharing our passion with everyone we serve.
After a long day of travel and checking in to our hotel, we strolled over to Johnny Brusco's and enjoyed a very good pizza and drinks served by a friendly and efficient server. A really good place for a casual meal with very reasonable prices.AWESOME to hear you say so Fred! Thanks so much for your business and kind words about our restaurant and we look forward to having you back next time you're in town - see you then! Ghostface is an excellent microbrewery. They have a wide selection of beers (over 15), spread through all styles. This is becoming rarer as many places concentrate on seasonal types and the most popular styles. They had it all from a Gose to a heavy Stout to an fantastic Pilsner. Some of their beers are flavored (and they balance that very well!) and most are standard syles, all done very well. They sell growlers, half-growlers and crowlers to-go. The bar service can slow down as they can get busy. It is totally worth it. I been there several times, and will definitely be returning.Their food is a New York style pizzeria, though they have an interesting selection of appys. I am from New York, and this is the closest to New York pizza I've had in years. The food is excellent.Extra Note:Less than a mile away is their "Beer Lab". It is an outpost where they offer experimental beers and styles in a simple pub format with outdoor seating. That place is very much worth a stop! I got two 7-beer samplers and only tried half the offerings. Next door is a BBQ place, and their wait staff comes over to take orders and bring your food to you.

Our pizzas feature housemade mozzarella and locally sourced farm-to-fork ingredients, and are cooked by wood fire in specially-designed, imported-from-Italy ovens in 90 seconds. There's nothing else like our restaurant in the region for the finest, truly
We had the Sushi Novanta a mozzarella rolled with prosciutto, spinach, arugula & roasted red pepper. It was fairly fresh and light considering all the mozza cheese. We enjoyed it. The pizza comes personal size only so each person needs one which allows for everyone to get the pizza of his or her choice but gets pretty pricey. The pizza was creative combinations.. Other than that itâs really nothing to write home about. Pizza is one of those things that really just need to be pure. Don't get me wrong, this place blows away the big chain and delivery trash that taste like the box it came in and we enjoyed it along with the novelty of pizza being kind of cool, but pretty it much ends there. The tables are close together, chairs are cold and hard, staff Is younger and inexperienced and location its off the beaten path. . 48.00 for two is a bit pricey also and itâs probably not going to make our return list.
