Even though this restaurant is not located along the beautiful lake nor do you have a view to it, it is still worth enjoying lunch or dinner there because of its atmosphere and panorama from the terrace. The menu offers plenty of delicious pizzas and changes frequently for specials. For me most important is the kids friendly surrounding especially for lunch but you are still welcome for dinner. Inside it is also very cozy and modern. Waiting time is good and since we go there every time being in the area, we never made a bad experience.

We had just arrived in Italy after our long trip from San Francisco, and our tour guide took us on a short walking tour around the area to show points of interest and places to eat. Too tired to explore further, and based on the recommendation of our guide, we chose Giardino and were quite pleased with the experience. It was too cool and drizzly to dine outdoors, but we sat in the room adjacent to the patio and shared 2 delicious pizzas for 4 of us. We also had the "vino della casa", 1/2 carafe of white and 1/2 carafe of red, which was rather ordinary. A short walk from Hotel Posta, Lido di Moltrasio is located on a sandy area constructed next to a swimming area and a boat dock. While it has a covered veranda and a few tables indoors, most of the seating is at nice plastic tables with plastic chairs on the sand. In the evenings, a cool breeze comes from the lake and the area is lighted. The menu is focused on pasta and pizza, all quite good, with occasional specials. We ate there two evenings during our stay and thoroughly enjoyed both the food and the atmosphere of the location. It is very relaxing and conducive to extended conversation among the diners. The prices are reasonable for what you get, and it is a good value. While I did not ask, I suspect this may be a seasonal business for spring and summer only.

We went there every morning while we stayed in Moltrasio. A place where locals always seem to go! We always got Cappuccinos and chocolate croissants. The owner and his son are very friendly and creative with their drinks! They also make the best Aperol Spritz! When in Moltrasio stop here! On the bus lines C10 or C20 Via Panoramico behind the Pharmacia on Via Roma 33/B. Also directly on Bus C29 out of Como.
