On a warm eventing in June, with a group of 4 we had dinner on the terrace of the Mafiya restaurant. There's a large choice to choose from, and menu's are alos translated in English. Super friendly staf, good food, nicely presented on the plates and very nice desserts. Despite the name of the restaurant, you feel very good at ease and you're not ripped off at all. I can recommend this restaurant to anyone who likes good food in a nice athmosphere.

Much to my surprises: for a fast food restaurant they serve good pizza's - very good actually. For lunch they serve rapid dishes. Everyday another dish. Allways a soup, warm dish and a drink. All for a small price. Quick and descent - good for a fast lunch. The service is kind, but a little nervous because they are young and don't speak English.

We had a good pizza at Andy's Pizza. It wasn't great. It wasn't bad. It was just okay. The highlight of this meal was the dessert. My wife had the Sacher chocolate cake, and she loved it. I had some gelato, which was very good. But the excellence of the dessert didn't outweigh the mediocrity of the pizza. If we were to come back here, we wouldn't set our expectations very high.

We had pizza and beer here on the second day of Christmas (old style). We arrived half an hour before closing and the barely English or Romanian speaking waiter assured us it is ok to order pizza on such short notice. Five minutes after closing time, there were two tables with customers and the staff just started to shut down the lights, one after the other and started to leave. We already paid, but did not finish eating. It was really rude and we asked them to turn on the lights and allow us to finish our meal. First time it happened to me. By the way, the pizza is good :)

Great atmosphere, food, location. I can not say the same about the service that we received from the waiter Elvira. She was not in the right mood, don't know what the local Romanian language. On every answer she was answering in Russian, with bad attitude.The dessert was very original, like a broken pottery with flower. 5 stars for the dessert.

Nice place in the very centre of Chisinau. I tried the local cousine and it was really good. Veal with potatoes and beans. Then naturally some Moldovan wine.

Moldovian wine choice - ok. Tasty, good service. No any negative comments. Waiters were quick and attentive. Food quality - very good. Although no amazing or special items, but general impression - very gentle and qualitative place. Thanks to staff for food and service.

Andy's pizza (several locations in Chisinau) is a great place to visit for a wide range of food. Pizzas are perfect, crepes are delightful, good selection of drinks, all at excellent prices. If, like me, you are from western Europe and you are not sure about the local cuisine, Andy's will be familiar to you. By all means move on to the local cuisine once you have found your feet in the country.
