After a game of golf one Sunday afternoon at Lambton Golf Club, I had a sudden craving for lasagna! The wife is always game for pasta herself and a quick google search revealed that Goodfellas was probably the closest open Italian restaurant in the area. On-street parking was readily available about a block away and we were seated in the lounge area as opposed to the restaurant proper. We probably would have preferred the latter, but no worries. We ordered a half carafe of red, she ordered a rigatoni dish and me my lasagna. Italian music was being played on the sound system, appropriately enough, and our food arrived in a timely fashion. Only one small problem... my dish was not quite as warm as I would have liked. Bringing it to our lovely waitresses attention, she whisked it away for what I presumed would be a quick warm-up. My wife continued to dine and just as she was finishing up, my lasagna arrived. Essentially, we dined separately together! This was of no concern at all. Both meals were simply superb and I appreciated the fact that the chef chose to serve me a new plate rather than simply nuke the first one. It was obvious to me that their priority was to serve a perfect meal rather than cut corners. It was our last meal of our three week vacation and apparently we saved the best for last!Thank you for your review and kind words. You are right. The quality of our meals is our concern. We would never cut corners as we have very high standards for the food we serve. We appreciate your understanding of this and do hope you will join us again soon.

Recently while staying at the Comfort Inn near Pearson Airport we took the opportunity to try PizzaWays pizza. We ordered a jumbo with several toppings including pepperoni, pineapple ( on half ) ham, extra cheese and bacon...the toppings were plentiful,, the crust a perfect thickness and the staff was friendly. They called our room as soon as it was ready...we could have had it delivered but chose to pick up. We have frequented this restaurant on several occasions and it has always impressed us. The food is very good, the service attentive and the atmosphere pleasant. This is truly authentic Italian not a facsimile of. You can tell by the pasta, fresh, homemade and delicious. They always offer an array of specials ranging from appetizers to entres, exquisitely prepared and enjoyable to the palate. I really can't say enough about this establishment, it is that good. The Owners got it right, good food, good service, moderate pricing and pleasant atmosphere. I would highly recommend it but I was also suggest reservations, especially on weekends. It's one of those gems that discerning diners cherish.

We were thoroughly dissappointed. When we arrived the manager was lovely and gracious and seated us very quickly. The restaurant was very busy and there were some large tables. The food we saw being served looked delicious, coupled with the reviews we read we were very excited and hungry . It was down hill from there. The service was slow and when we asked the waitress what the specials were she said only the manager had the list and we would have to wait for him. We ordered salads that took 20 minutes to arrive and they were wrong. So back to the kitchen another few minutes and the correct salads show up. We ordered grilled calamari and it was cold, chewy and overcooked. The eggplant appetizer we ordered came as eggplant parmesean. So back to the kitchen and we waited for the mini eggplant stuffed with beef and garnished with mini romaine lettuce. I didn't even know eggplant that small existed. We had to flag down the bus boy for water. The service was quite slow even after the crowd thinned. Once the bill arrived we expressed our displeasure with the entire meal and the fact that there was a mistake made at every interval. He apologized. Handed us the bill and turned away. We payed, left a tip feelling hungry and very dissatisfied. The manager seeing how upset we were came over after our coats were on and told us if we come back he would give a dessert on the house. Seriously???? With all the restaurants in this city why would he think we were coming back. Too little too late. Perhaps he should have offered thatwhen we first complained or at least some coffee or a grappa anything to try to appease us. Having said all of that, I likely would have not even written this if not for the waitress that was standing at the the door holding the interior door open to push us out. She then proceed to say sarcastically, Ya write a Yelp review. And yelled at us as we were leaving that and I quote " It's called understanding" to which I replied, " It's called customer service" In my opinion any restaurant can have a bad night, it's how the staff handles it that is make or break. That's my two cents. I won't be going back

First time here, quaint little place with rustic decor and a nice patio. Food is solid.Appetizers-- the mixed charcuterie antipasto is beautifully presented, and the calamari is crisp and tender. The meatballs have a great marina sauce that's not too acidic.Mains-- pizzas were thin-crusted and yummy. The pasta del mare had ample seafood and the shrimps were plump. The smoked duck carbonara was rather bland and the sauce was definitely not the egg-based carbonara i was expecting-- it was more like and olive oil sauce. Veal marsala was just ok-- again, on the bland side. Desserts-- The lava cake was really good and the tiramisu had good amaretto flavour. Better than average cappuccino too. Bonus-- you can get vicinity points at this place!Service was kind and attentive throughout. This is definitely one of the better Italian places around!

Enjoyed an excellent Italian meal with friends at this popular restaurant in Clarkson Village on Lakeshore in Mississauga. The service was friendly and efficient and on Mondays they have 1/2 price wine bottles! Perfect for a casual meal after the movies. The pizzas were delicious as well as the salads - beet salad and caesar highly recommended. I had the wild boar agnolotti which was delicious. The large room and high ceilings however do make for a noisy atmosphere - so not recommended for a quiet, romantic meal.
