Dining on the beach watching the sea is the best part of this restaurant. Always full of clients, the staff can guarantee an efficient and kind service. The menu is rich and the quality good. Yesterday, lately, the quality of the fish courses is not as usual, better choose typical dishes like "sarsoncini" and "saraghine". The last time we where there the "risotto" was mushy and overdone. Good choice of wines. In summer with the crowd of tourists the quality is not the same of the off season. Always worth a try.

We were a bunch of mates dining here for a B-day, and we definitely enjoy our evening..some got a plentiful servings of pastas, others a medium to well-done grilled slices of beef accompanied with rocket salad and balsamic vinegar, porcino mushrooms or salt and rosemary..and seafood looked quite alright too. Half way through the dinner some dancing music was popped on..and whoever wanted did dance..on the tables too..Definitely a good spot to eat well and have a bit of fun with friends.

It seems like Hochey just keeps getting better and better as the years pass by. For our two week vacation, it was like a magnet: drawing us to lunch and/or dinner. We tried other places; some dearer; yet the consensus when the question came up "Where to eat?" drew a chorus of "Hochey, of course!"Although we are all fans of genuine Italian pizzas (from Hochey's genuine wood-oven); we all found enough other dishes to keep us going back again and again. It's a lively, buzzing atmosphere. Reservations are very useful on Friday and Saturday for July and August; when Hochey's gets packed. Watch out for mine host, Paolino, the local legend and retired motorcycle champion (in a country which reveres motorcyclists). The walls are filled with memorabilia and you may hear Paolino rev up one of the bikes to please the crowd.Paolino has expanded his business to include the nearby "Birra di Paolino" and next year (2019) he opens on the seafront. I hope he keeps the original Hochey too.

The food is generally ok but the service was absolutely awful. They were unfriendly, rude and we waited way too long for our food. I understand a delay if the restaurant is busy, but they were pretty empty and yet it took more than an hour and a half to get our plates.The service really left a bad tasted in my mouth, ruining what would otherwise have been a decent meal. Don't waste your time here until the attitude and service here improve.

The restaurant is located on a hill top and although the building itself is not particularly interesting, It has a nice balcony with many tables and a great scenic view over the Countryside and the Adriatic sea in the distance. The 5 of us shared a huge pizza, which is the house specialty, ready sliced and with many ingredients. Really delicious. Service is great and we were offered liqueurs after dinner. Recommended.
