Iâve been going to Saraghina for a few years now, the restaurant itself with itâs fantastic patio and (while overpriced) pretty solid menu options. The pizzas are delicious and the fried chicken sandwich was absolutely phenomenal. But this restaurant has the most consistent bad service Iâve ever seen. Iâm not sure if this is an issue with understaffing or not properly training staff, but I have always had issues with simple things like having my card out on the table for over 20 minutes before I had to bring my card up to the bar to pay my bill. My most recent trip took the cake. I went in with three friends for brunch and we sat at the bar. It was very busy at the time so I was forgiving that it took 15/20 minutes for the bartender to even acknowledge us sitting directly in front of her, but when another employee had to check in with us for a drink order because he could tell we were being outright ignored I started to lose a little faith. Eventually she took our food orders (which came out before we got our drinks, two beers and two three ingredient cocktails) and just genuinely seemed disinterested in giving any attention to her 6 customers at the bar.I keep coming for the ambiance and food, but each time Iâm reminded that the entire experience suffers from the service. Itâs a shame.

This placed closed down and a guy who runs a few pizza places in the area opened this place. They changed the inside and it has a much better atmosphere. Has a hot antipasto to start, eggplant was great, stuffed mushroom was big and tasty, clams were whole I like them chopped. I had the veal romana was fantastic with tomato, artichoke, bacon, onions in a white wine sauce. My wife had the stuffed sole special in a scampi sauce. Not at all fishy and a healthy portion. No room for dessert this time just espresso. Friendly staff great service

This was our first time eating here. Our son recommended it. We had an enjoyable lunch. They had many kinds of pizza, hero's, specialty rolls, salads, pasta dishes, dinners, drinks and desserts. We ordered at the counter - 5 slices of pizza with different toppings and grilled chicken with mozzarella cheese and roasted red peppers sandwich. We enjoyed everything. The pizza slices and sandwich were very fresh and tasty. In addition we had friendly service.

If I could give this 7-stars I would. What was supposed to be a casual birthday dinner turned into an unexpectedly amazing night.Food-wise, the four of us started with the bruschetta and mushroom apps. Both really solid. I got the oregano pizza. As a huge za'atar fan, this might have been my favorite pizza toppings-wise I've ever had. The labneh is what really pulls it together. The pizza itself was very high quality.I was sitting next to a spaghetti carbonara aficionado. Its her litmus test at every Italian restaurant (and she's been to many). She said this was top-3 in the city. The four cheese gnocchi was out of this world. I only had a bite of the birthday boy's dish, but the gnocchi melted in my mouth and the cheeses were blended to perfection.Lastly, the chicken parm was supposedly excellent as well. We were all incredibly satisfied by our meals. At the table next to us were two women who had mouth-watering looking dishes as well. One of them was controlling the music in the restaurant. I'm not entirely sure how it happened, but she put on a song we requested, and we all started clapping and then dancing. Turns out she was the owner! She refilled our drinks, and brought out a birthday tiramisu with a HUGE sparkler. Just look at how happy the birthday boy is - the picture says it all!We ended up hanging out at the restaurant for several more hours. The owner, her friend and the staff were so much fun. Even a spilt glass of red wine and a ruined dress couldn't stop us. My face actually hurt from smiling and laughing so much.It was one of those magical hospitality moments that will stick with you for a long time. I'm certain you won't replicate our experience - and frankly, we couldn't either if we tried - but no matter what, this place is worth the visit.

Real NY pizza slices and great eggplant parm dinner, the panini' switch chicken cutlet or eggplant and fresh mozzarella and tomatoes are out of this world. You won't be hungry and you will still have money left in your wallet. Prices are great, food is fabulous and a glass of wine with it dining in even better!

Nick's Pizza Forest Hills has been serving up thin crust pizzas & calzones for over 20 years. Melty mozzarella and fresh ingredients in Forest Hills, NY.
I had no problem with the food, but I had a problem with the manner of service that I received. I asked him to have some wider width lemon wedges for my water so that I could squeeze them into my water. Well, he refused to go into the kitchen to cut a lemon the way I wanted. He also refused to get me a lemon from the kitchen so that I may cut it myself. All I was left with was these non-squeezable really thin lemon slices that absolutely did nothing. These lemon wedges are a garnish, whereas, I should have never been denied these lemon wedges for my water. A very reasonable garnish request from a guest inside of Nick's having dinner should have never be denied. This is the cost of doing business, an extremely small cost, mind you. My bill was $40.00 Good service means as much as the food!!Gary, rest assured you're right to expect outstanding service here -- I'm truly sorry for any miscommunication on our end regarding your lemon wedges. It's great to know you enjoyed the food overall, and I hope you'll have another opportunity to join us for a visit sometime soon. You can always expect a warm welcome here. All the best,Gus, Owner

Pizza Classica has been a favorite guys night out destination for us for the past 9 years. Our group of 5 visits this establishment to enjoy their great food and experience their great service. Service was not great tonight. I felt we were ignored the entire evening. Getting drink refills tonight was like pulling teeth. We only saw our server when he took the order, once when we flagged him down for a refill, and when the check was dropped. Definitely, not the experience we anticipated. Never had such Subpar service here. Our group met 13 years ago working as waiters in a catering hall. We know hospitality and still tipped 20%. Maybe our server had an off night. We started with rice balls and wings. Both were very good. Wings were slightly spicy and crispy. As an entree, the three of us split a Chicken Caesar Pizza. It was as good as usual with plenty of grilled chicken. For dessert, I had Italian Cheesecake with coffee. It was a perfect cup of coffee! I would love to know the brand. The Italian Cheesecake was decadent, very light and creamy with a hint of orange. The food quality ended up saving this review from a "Poor" rating. Hopefully, next visit will have better service. I think it was a one off. We would tip 30% for great service. All in all, check this place out for dinner. You cannot go wrong.

The pizzas at Robertaâs are great. No doubt about it. Steaming hot, fresh ingredients and with nice subtle hints of just that extra ingredient.. but my god the prices are steep! The menu mainly consists of cheese pizzas around $20 to add on toppings ranging from $2(the basics) to $5 (the meats).. order two beers and your up to $70 for a lunch or dinner and if the pizza was just that big that you feel youâve eaten enough thatâs a good price but this great tasting pizza just left me a bit hungry afterwards..

Avoided this place for a long time due to poor sanitary grades. Had gone countless times back in the day and always enjoyed their pizza, particularly the famous Sicilian slices. When the grade in the window slipped below an A for what seemed like forever, family and I found pizza elsewhere. When we finally noticed the A grade was back, we returned to give it another shot. I still really like the Sicilian, but it doesnât quite live up to its status from years ago. The rest of the pizza is just slightly above average for me. Gets 4 stars, though, because that type of Sicilian slice is tough to find in other pizzerias.
