Find out what Pizza restaurants to try in Mestre. While Venice’s mainland suburb of Mestre has a history and character all its own dating back to medieval times, it owes its growth and fortune to its more powerful offshore neighbor. Unfortunately, it’s everything Venice is not: modern, industrial and cheap. But while they may not compare to the romantic canals of Venice, Mestre does have attractions of its own, including the Torre (Tower) dell'Orologio and the Duomo (Cathedral) di San Lorenzo, located on its town square, Piazza Ferretto.

Best places can you use standard pizza joint you find all over Italy. What differentiates one from another is usually the pizza dough. Even though the pizza dough was absolutely beautiful, it was a rather wet dough. The bottom had absolutely no structure and was just a soggy slab of congealed paste. The outer crust was very tender and chewy. Even the places where it was burnt were not crispy. Not my favourite Style and and was a bit of disappointment for me. All and all, it's a good pizza. Just not as good as others I've had in Italy. So, I had to rate it accordingly.I saw other reviewers stated the service was slow no. This is not because the waitstaff was lazy or slow, because they bust their asses. It is slow because they have to put out about out 8 pies per minute in order to keep up with the demand. I guess if you want faster service you need to go down the McDonald's. If you want an acceptable pizza at an acceptable price, Fratelli la bufala is a good choice

We had dinner here following a long day of sightseeing and it had been recommended by the hotel.Started out very well, with quite fast (if impersonal and a bit indifferent) service and really quick delivery of our food. The food was really good and we all enjoyed both pizza, past and lasagne. Then it was as if we disappeared from their map. We couldnt get attention to order desert, it took long to get the check and once it arrived their wouldnt even come to collect money. We ended up going to the bar to settle it. Sorry no tip, and cannot give a rating higher than 3 when poor service is involved. Food was good though.

Da Michele was the best of the three restaurants we tried in Mestre, but unfortunately that's not saying much. The food was ok, but the choice of pasta dishes was very limited and the service while efficient was not the friendliest. In fact, one waitress gave us the ditinct impression that we werent particularly welcome. Also, felt that the drinks were over-priced.Thank you for your feedback. We hope to see you again and improve your experience.Kindest regards.Da Michele CrewPizza e Ristò

A retauarant in residential area for locals.Massive choice of Pizza's and pasta. Do not be put off by outside appearance. it is bigger and pleasant but not fancy inside. Friendly good service and great food. All food and drinks were very reasonable price and being a local restaurant the atmosphere was very enjoyable

This is a simple place, certainly no luxury, so imagine plastic chairs, lots of noise, busy atmosphere. But the service was friendly and the food authentic, if you're after the typical pizza and pasta fair. They even accepted American Express which is not everywhere in Italy so we were happy about that.

Plenty of places to eat in the area but found this gem of a place. Had the Carbonara which was excellent and my wife had the tagliatelle bolognelse, just as good. Service was fantastic and very reasonably priced. 2 mains, 2 deserts, 2 alcholic drinks and water for less than â¬60. Would highly recommend for a good evenings meal. Thanks

We are in holiday in Italy and we found this place local to our hotel and thought we would give it a go and we are glad we did! Upon entering we were asked if we were English (we are) to which the polite and friendly lady at the counter brought forward her colleague that spoke English to show us the different types of pizza and different types of toppings! I would honestly reccomend this place to anyone that is nearby! Best pizza in italy.
