Myself & my partner had the maltese board starter which had enough food to be shared between 4 easily, it had various cheeses, olives, tomatoes & breads etc and was lovely and tasty! I then had the seafood pasta which was brimming with king prawns, clams & mussels, very tasty and a huge serving of pasta with a light sauce of white wine & garlic which went perfectly with the seafood. Partner had the vegetarian ravioli and loved it, all the food was tasty and huge portions! Didn't have a pudding as we were too full but all options sounded and looked fantastic! 2 courses, a bottle of wine & a bottle of water was around 40 euros which we thought was well priced.Dear Guest,Primarily I would like to thank you for you kind feedback. We are pleased to read you enjoyed your dinner experience. We sincerely hope to see you again during your next stay in Malta.Sincerely,Martha

Takes ages to be served plus place is small and crowded. If you are lucky to be seated outside on a small terrace you will however be rewarded with a beautiful view of uninterrupted Gozitan countryside. Pizza is delicious and very cheap. Food recommended. Place .. not

Murella is the latest addition on the Jubilee Group. It is acontemporary design wood oven pizzeria/restaurant/cafeteria and lounge situated in the heart of Marsalforn Gozo
My partner and I have been holidaying in the beautiful Marsalforn Bay on the island of Gozo this week. There are so many places to eat as the bay seems to be popular with Germans, Dutch, Italians and us Brits. The food does range wildly in quality and itâs often pot luck finding real good cooking. However, we did find a gem of restaurant called Murella. Itâs right outside the Hotel Calypso right on the front of the harbor. The service was really great and the prices, given the quality, was more than reasonable. I only took pictures of the bruschetta, however, this alone was a real tasty starter; fresh bread, thinly sliced roasted aubergine, fresh tomatoes, goats cheese and crisp cold green rocket. So tasty! I ordered the Lamb tagine with sultanas, apricots and cous cous and my partner the half shell prawn and tarragon tagliatelle. Both dishes were absolutely perfect. We washed it all down with a local shiraz. Donât think we paid more than £50 which for a starter, 2 mains a bottle of red was great value. They also served us complimentary giant crotons with freah chickpea and kidney bean and garlic dips. Thoroughly recommended. If you wanna have something other than pizza and pasta then pop down to Murella and grab yourself a high quality food experience. Dear Foodmonkey92,Thank you for your lovely detailed comments. It is a pleasure hearing such comments knowing that at least some of our clients really enjoy our food and drink offer. It gives us the energy to move forward despite all the hard work countercurrents one meets in this industry. We hope that we will have the opportunity to be of service to you again some time in the not too distant future.

We visited for dinner... A lot of points to make. Food was by far below average... Pizza bland, pasta bolognese overcooked and no particular taste to it, calamari fritti were probably the biggest let down for a fish place... Soft, chewy and not tasty. The worst of all.... The wine.... Red wine menu, clearly stating McGuigan Black Label Shiraz Hunter Valley, however the bottle shown in the photo was actually brought...'South Eastern Australia'. Very distasteful to claim to provide a bottle from a viticulture background such as Hunter Valley and then bring a South Eastern Australian downgrade.. Dear Customer,we are very sorry of reading this review. I have been working at Piùtrentanove for 10 years, as owner and as cook at the same time, and since I prepared by myself the dishes you mentioned, I can answer to all your points. I can state, with no doubt, that the pasta was not overcooked (but "al dente" in perfect italian style) and the "ragù" (bolognese sauce) is one of our "forte", I prepare it with my grandma's recipe, a tuscan one that is a guarantee of taste. People usually come back for it and for sure they come back for my pizza: everyday I prepare the fresh dough and I use high-quality products, I am sorry if you didn't like it and found it bland, I invite you to come and try it again and maybe you'll change your opinion. About the calamari, I can simply reply that I buy them from a well-known fish shop that sell the best fish in the island and in these last weeks many customers gave their compliments on my "frittura di calamari". Lastly, I didn't understand exactly what happened with the wine, but we have no pictures of any bottle, so i don't understand what you are talking about...We have a large selection of wines and detailed description of them. Anyway, I suggest, for next time, to inform the waiters if you find something wrong with your food, it will be our pleasure to verify if the pasta is overcooked ot the calamari chewy, and we'll see to having them prepared again for you.Best RegardsFilippoOwner and cook at Piùtrentanove

Welcome was good. Shared a starter of Cold cuts platter which was Proscuitto, Salami, 3 different cheeses, cherry tomatoes, Sundried tomatoes and crackers. Main for me was Chicken Al a Chef which was lovely in sauce, vegatables and roast potatoes, portion was huge and there was a lot of waste but they did ask if i wanted to take it home with me. John had Sea Bream which was one of the daily fish specials with a Caper sauce. He said it was the best he ever had.I had a half bottle of wine and he had a full red. Meal cost about 75 Euro. Good meal will be back on our next visit.
