Very much like school dinners. Very cheap so do not expect too much, get each course as you want it as nothing is very hot. It was very quiet when we were there so at busy time it may be a problem. Portions were OK but I'd rather pay a bit more and have restaurant service. Don't get me wrong, it's edible and cheap so if your in a rush give it a go.

This is a really nice restaurant, beautiful outside dining, great menu and service. I'm not sure if this is part of the "Executive Hotel" if it is I didn't really want to bundle them together, chalk and cheese as far as I'm concerned. They really have got this dining experience done really well, very romantic, contemporary styling, hard to believe its joined to the hotel! I would definitely recommend!

Every time I travel to Modena I have to find time to visit Piccadilly, located in Baggiovara, a small town close to Modena.Excellent, thin pizza, italian original style.Kids and wife love there as well.Service is very friiendly and efficient.As a bonus, there is a very good ice cream shop beside.

Went to this place for my last light dinner so can't say much about the food, what I ate was a local pasta dish and was as good as anywhere else. I had had the pizza a couple of days earlier to take away and it was fine too, the ice cream was nice but had chunks of ice. What let the place down but was also its saving grace was the service. On the one hand it was disorganised, bringing the wrong dishes and forgetting others, they also more than corrected it with the friendly attitude of the owner and staff and was probably because they were busy (Monday evening) They also have a number of other businesses in Maranello including the planet hotel which are all excellent so I will still recommend this place even if the service was a little off. Price was more than reasonable.

we ate in the outside area.. food was good but we ordered far too much - didnt have a reservation so we were lucky to get in. Prices were good. Staff were rushed off their feet and once they knew we were brits and spoke no italian- we had to wait for a waiterwho could speak english. Would eat here again.

I have been in this restaurant few times and I recommend it for all people who want to try typical italian cuisine , not only pasta but also fishes and seafood.Apart from eating , an integral part of any restaurant is its customer service. There, the service is absolutely professional.

We were a bit wary of this place at first, despite the good reviews on TripAdvisor as the staff didn't seem very friendly and we nearly walked out again...Things didn't improve much once we'd got our menus, as a LOT of items were crossed off, seriously limiting our options.Since it was raining and we were tired from a long journey, we decided to stick it out and to be honest I'm glad we did.Once served, things got better and both the food and wine we selected was great although my wife didn't care for the local sausage in her calzone as it was a bit gristly and greasy (I tried it and had to agree). Decent value at â¬50 a shared starter, 2 pizzas, 2 beers and a bottle of wine. I think that being in quite early we missed the rush as the restaurant was VERY busy when we left!

Had dinner at Lo Smeraldo while visiting Modena's province. Our hotel suggested the place and it was a great suggestion. The place is inviting and elegant, creating the right setting for an enjoyable evening. The service was very good, providing the right amount of information in helping with the menu. Overall, a good experience that we would repeat if back in the Maranello area.

We have ordered:Salat -6 euro 1 pizza- 8 euro 1 pizza - 5 euro 2 beers - 4,5 euro each2 Fanta - 2,4 euro each Total: 33 euro as you Can see from receipt paid 44,5 euro!!It is just not ok!
