Locale molto carino,tranquillo, bello l'arredamento. In una tavolata di 10 persone abbiamo ordinato antipasti di terra, la pizza al metro più bevande (birre,acqua e coca cola) e dolci vari. Il servizio è stato pessimo il ragazzo era in affanno assolutamente poca organizzazione, gli antipasti buoni ma striminziti non da dieci persone sicuramente, le pizze discretamente saporite. Prezzo 17 euro a persona. Senza arte né parte!!!

Per me 5 stelle.Ottima l'accoglienza all'ingresso e ottimo il servizio.Il fritto misto soddisfacente con ben 2 tipi di patata fritta e le pizze buone sottili e croccanti,da vero maestro.Buona la birra alla spina e giusto il conto.I friarielli erano davvero saporiti.Il posto e bello ma leggermente freddino,non di temperatura ma di arredamento,servirebbe qualcosa per renderlo più accogliente,magari l'illuminazione più calda,una stafa a pellet o magari accendere quel camino spettacolare.Comunque per me 5 stelle e,come da buona tradizione salentina...alla cassa amaro o limoncello offerto !!!

If you want to avoid the touristy hustle and bustle of Otranto, try Maglie. It is a nice and quiet in-land town only a short (20min) car ride away. We found Horus restaurant while walking through the historic center. They have a beautiful outdoor terrace with a garden and offer great value food for money. Try one of their meat dishes or the huge (delicious) pizza. The service could be a bit quicker and friendlier, though. They are currently closed on Wednesdays.

Making the best pucce in town they do. Open on time they do not!!Billed as opening at 17:00 after the afternoon break, we arrived at 19:00. They weren't ready - still setting up the tables. So we sat for half and hour in their nice shady lobby.Very friendly waiter and extensive menu. We wanted to try the Salentian pucce for which they were famed, so that's what we chose. Pucce is a flat bread like a large burger bun only crispier, then filled with whatever you like. I had the house speciality and was not disappointed. If you're really hungry you can add salad or chips etc. too, but we just had the basic, pucce, then a Salentine speciality ice-cream (spumoni) for dessert. As we've learnt the locals all eat late, so things were only just beginning to take off when we left - but a great experience and a great taste of local food.The restaurant is easy to find, and free street parking all round it.Go visit.

People think that it doesn't take a lot of effort to make a pizza......BUT.......if you will come here you will understand the difference between a pizza and the Livella's one! I give my hat off to the pizza chef, the pizzeria ambient is really basic but my Asian girlfriend liked it because is part of her idea of "being Italian". The money you spend is really a fraction of what we normally spend in Hong Kong for something not even close to what we had here. Strongly recomended!The pizzeria 'A LIVELLA synonymous with passion, experience and products of the highest quality. The staff wants to offer its customers the essence of the Neapolitan flavors ... every satisfied customer is a great achievement. We await you soon!

It's really a good place that deserves to be visited while your holidays in Salento , modern place with a rapid service , personals are kindle and smily , that treat the clients in one way all what i can say about it "professional" . On both occasions that we visited we were utterly starving after busy days sightseeing so we arrived as soon as the restaurant opened and on one occasion five minutes before. This was no problem and service was very prompt. We were brought complimentary anti pasti consisting of mini pucce and pizzas. The dough was utterly delicious. On the first occasion we both had pizzas which were Puglian, rather than Neapolitan and were so good! The local cheese and fresh ingredients were cooked perfectly. On the second occasion we had a puccia each and mine had local beef it. Fantastic.There is quite a bit of choice for vegetarians too.I definitely recommend and it is easy on the wallet.

If you're having one meal in Maglie - this is where you must come. A wee bit away from the other restaurants, however well worth seeking out. The best food during our stay touring Puglia, and an exceptionally warm welcome from the staff - who were so patient with our non-existent Italian.
