Pizza was exelant. We found a place by accident, and were very happy with it. They made me a vegan pizza by request. Prices are very affordable. Much cheaper than Domino's in the Netherlands. Atmosphere was really good and staff is so very nice and friendly!

We ate here for lunch when we went to Lucca. We chose to sit inside because it was air conditioned and it was a hot August day. The inside was a delight with white tableclothes. The wait staff was attentive and did speak some English. The combo calzone and pizza was a sight to see baked together and very large. Plenty to share. The ham and brie focaccia was also very large and plenty to share as well. Overall a very pleasant experience.

Visited here for lunch, been before about 4 years ago. Lucca has some fantastic places to eat, sadly not this one anymore. Don't sit outside down the side street opposite, the drain smell will get to you after a while, if that doesn't the rude waiter will who served us. Poor service, not friendly, average pizza and a shocking prepared and presented salad. Also didn't appreciate female waitress smoking near our table and putting her cigarette butt in the area where we were. Such a shame seems to have gone down hill. Plenty of competition out there !Purtroppo le recensioni che ci sono in positivo superano molto le bugie che dite in questa recensione , felice se non venite più nel mio locale grazie

Lovely location surrounded by other restaurants in the piazza. Staff were very helpful. We were ready to leave after being surrounded by cigarette smoke from 3 other tables under the umbrella with the water spritzers trapping in the suffocating smell. The waiter kindly offered to move us to a different table so we did. Much more pleasant with fresh air.Had the fried bread with cold cuts - not a generous serve - only a few slices of meat and the fried pasta bread wasnât as good as torta fritta and prosciutto from the EmiliaâRomagna region. It was too dense and too much bread compared to the quantity of meat. Creamy cheese wasnât anything special.Margherita pizza was delicious - crispy base with tasty sauce and cheese. Potato chips were hot and crunchy.Beer wasnât as cold as we would have hoped for a hot day.A 3 star rating may be harsh but it didnât meet the high culinary standards weâve experienced elsewhere in Italy.

Pizza take away e piece. Room inside with 40 place complete. Terrace outside just infront af the wonderful WALL OF LUCCA
Pizzeria In Santa Maria was right near where we parked, just inside the Lucca wall, so we chose it for lunch because of its convenience. We were glad we did as the pizza was delicious! We ordered two and both were amazing--I can't even choose a favorite. The service was also great and it was fun to people watch as people came and went up to bike the walls. Perfect lunch spot!

Nice and simple. Surely deserves one of the best positions for lucca on trip advisor. Excellent pizzas, friendly staff, fair prices. Dear Vassilis V,your review is great!! Really thanks a lot for this. Our Best Regards,Pizzeria Dal Ciaccia

We were the first group to arrive for lunch on a rainy Sunday and were very pleased to have our table for six set up for our reservation. When the waiter came to take our order, we were surprised to discover that they donât serve pizza at lunch time! The food we ordered was delicious and it came promptly. But some of us had really wanted pizza and were disappointed not to be able to have it.
