Find out what Pizza restaurants to try in London. Ancient tradition and contemporary trend meet in age-old London. One of the most cosmopolitan and dynamic destinations on earth, for centuries the British capital has been on the forefront of whatever has been deemed cutting edge, en vogue, and topical. A thriving metropolis of several million people with a global reach and a worldly outlook, London is at its heart a series of small, interconnected villages with the framework and infrastructure of a modern city joining them together, yet seldom denying each its own distinctive character.

I dined here with some friends for dinner. Upon arrival I must say it looked fairly run down from the outside and actually more like a cheap takeaway than a restaurant (redesign needed?) but once inside it was clear how wrong I was. We were seated in a cosy area in the quaintly decorated restaurant and it reminded me of a traditional trattoria from Italy. The Italian staff were really friendly and we ordered the reasonably priced pizzas from the menu. The bases were nice and made from wholegrain flour I think as they tasted more rustic than a bog standard pizza but overall good quality and fresh. The drinks were fair prices and desert was nice too (lemon sorbet). Overall a really nice find and great option for dinner on the Catford high street. Only slight negative was the Asian waitress who was really quite grumpy whenever she interacted with us and didn't even say thank you or goodbye after we paid.

We were a party of 12 and descended on this lovely little restaurant pre booked on a Saturday evening. The staff were really friendly, the food outstanding. Pizzas are a specialty and were very popular perfectly baked and homemade. Every part of our meal for every individual was excellent and even with us all there the atmosphere was âItalianâ. Well worth a trip if in the area.

This restaurant is a real gem. Four of us went for dinner and thoroughly enjoyed it.The whole menu is enticing and all reasonably priced. The starters were well received- duck breast salad, whitebait, beef carpaccio and prawn cocktail. The mains trumped the starters. My fish mixed grill was perfectly cooked, one of the best dishes Iâve ever had the pleasure of eating. Next time Iâll be trying the whole sea bream which looked very impressive. Make sure you go hungry as the portions are healthy! I canât rate this place highly enough.

We visited 'Piatto' this evening after reading the very good reviews on TripAdvisor. The small restaurant is very atmospheric and service is friendly and efficient. We ordered a few bottles of Gavi that were good quality for easy drinking. We decided to share which seemed a good idea considering the type of food and started with the Black Garlic Bread with mozzarella and rosemary (excellent), a Bruschetta that was a generous portion and equally as good as I was expecting from previous reviews and the Burrata that came with Mascarpone with truffles. The food was a perfect introduction to the unusual and individualised dishes that come out of Piatto's kitchen. We couldn't resist one of the specials for a main course and this was the Tuna dish that was well priced at £24 and cooked exactly as I requested. Having seen their charcoal pizzas on TripAdvisor, we had to have one to share and chose the Porcini Black Pizza which was exceptional and topped with buffalo mozzarella and truffle oil. A plate of rocket topped with parmesan and balsamic glaze was the right side to choose to complement the food. We are not pudding fans but my daughter wanted a Cointreau Tiramisu to share so we indulged and whereas it was tasty, wasn't as good as the one I make but I would say that, wouldn't I!The restaurant isn't cheap when everything mounts up but in fairness, the food was very different, quality Italian and all the better for it - we would happily return.

My husband and I came here two nights in a row. We both really enjoyed our meals and the service. The atmosphere is relaxing and they play great doo wop music. We had pasta dishes the first night and they were amazing. They are accommodating to allergies too. Just let them know.

We've been in London for the past week, staying in Camden, and only tonight came upon this restaurant via other reviews. We are so glad we ate here before heading home. The food was absolutely amazing. Authentic Italian cuisine in a really quaint and friendly atmosphere. Had we tried this earlier in our stay we would've went back another time to explore the menu more!

This place has to be one of the best places in London for Pizza and it certainly is the best In Peckham! From start to finish the service was brilliant the owner, was welcoming, friendly, attentive and knew the menu like the back of his hand! The Pizzas arrived super quick and we didnât want them to end, you can really taste the fresh ingredients, there is no super sugary tomato sauce which I often find in pizza. Theyâre so tasty and I honestly canât wait to go back! If youâre looking for Pizza in Peckham, this is the place!

Where today you see The Prince of Greenwich is the historical Victorian "Albert" which changed its name during the last few years. It still keeps the charm and the integrity of this beautiful historical building, know with the décor from La Rosa Collectio
Walked in with family and was greeted by owner who couldnât do enough to make us feel welcome. He made sure we was ok.
