Both opted for a pasta dishes which were under the âappetiserâ section of the menu. These were both huge and more than enough for a main meal! We also tried the bread infused with garlic which was amazing!! The meal was reasonably priced but mainly because our dishes were appetisers..Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for seafood dishes or anyone whoâs keen on fresh bread (who isnât!)

We used this restaurant twice whilst in holiday. Right on the sea front. Nice meal, price not to bad. It was a bit dark, once the sun went down, good job we keep torches in our pockets to read the menu. We would use again.

Recommended by a passer traveler we sought out this little restaurant in a side street. Clearly a popular place even for locals as they patiently waited for a table. The food is well priced and delicious and the owner and staff are amazing and friendly. Defiantly a must eat at place as you divulge in their delicious home made and baked pastas.

Me and my wife read in local newspaper that Basta pizza is excellent, so we decided to give it a shot, we were really astonished by pizzas we got, crust was exactly on spot, soft and thin, very rich with ingredients , actually its was best pizza that i have ever eaten, its a bit pricey place but considering location, and pizza quality its worth every dime spent. I will visit your place again, be sure!! regardsWe are happy you gave Basta a try and enjoyed the experience and our pizza. Our apartment was on the sea-front very close to Labinezza.As well as pizzas,the restaurant specializes in pasta meals:I had a very good and tasty Penne with Salmon,while my wife enjoyed her Dalmatian Chops.Very friendly and talkative waiter,Ivan:as always,I find that Croatians have a good sense of humour,similar to us Brits!

The set up of this restaurant is lovely with outside tables, covered patio area and inside area. Menu easy and great variety of dishes. Staff, friendly helpful and clearly love the job as they provide excellent service. Food well presented, reasonable cost and delicious. I would recommend the mixed grill for 2 as it was a fantastic meal. Only negative is that we should not have had an entree as the meal is so big and so nice. Great meal and thanks to the great staff there.

We chose this place for its location by the harbour and its appealing menu. We chose the veggie lasagna,we love lasagna !What we got a few minutes later was a pot of bechamel sauce in which a few barely cooked vegetables were soaked in. How horrible ! We had never easy item so much liquid bechamel ! Before paying, we told the lady that our dish was very different than the picture on the menu... She said of course, its a picture from the internet ! How sad!Thank you for your honest review and our apologies for the situation you mentioned.

been there few times they never disapoint. always fresh always tastyi usually eat meat with my family but kids want chicken so i can recommend this mix meat plate with grilled vegetables and fries. It is always good choiche for family lunch. I must say they have great seats by the sea. Very tasty table vine with good price! welcome service!

Really very, very good Roman style pizza. Greek salad was Greek in name only but excellent. Extremely fresh ingredients. Decent coffee and draft beer. Much nicer than anywhere at the airport and a great place to wait for the new Split Express ferry. Itâs not far from the airport, but not that easy to get to with a pram and cases.

So fortunate that this was the nearest restaurant to our apartment.The owners,Ante and Antonija,were so welcoming and hospitable.On so many occasions we enjoyed lunch and particularly evening meal here.The fish soup was good,with plenty of fish and rice(I must contrast this with another restaurant nearby where I was charged more for fish soup yet could not find any fish);bread was also very fresh and tasty.Another favourite was the Fried Smelts(small fish),even better when combined with Grilled Vegetables and French Fries;and better still again when their super Garlic Sauce was added.But our very favourite was the so tasty Beef in Sauce with Gnocchi,chosen for our last meal on holiday.And so often did we receive complimentary drinks here.The super food,service and hospitality here added so much to our holiday,just felt so comfortable here.
