I walked into this really cute pizza place after I got my hair done next door and wanted two slices of pizza. Unfortunately at that time which was around 6 pm I could not get 2 slices. There was however a woman at the bar that said to me I have a whole pizza here and you can have two slices for free. I was really surprised I think it was the owner's wife. She gave me a box with the two slices of pizza and I didn't have to pay and she said Merry Christmas and the pizza was really good.Thin crust nice veggies and cheese. Thank you!

Citrea has been our favorite restaurant in Binghamton since they opened - we are there pretty much every Friday night. The food is consistently delicious, with pizza and a carefully curated menu of small plates which are not easily rivaled anywhere in the area, incl Ithaca. I was surprised to see one reviewer comparing the pizzas to Blaze. We enjoy Blaze, but there is no real comparison to be made. Blaze is its own corporate-derived but solid product, with a thin crust, made quickly, with good ingredients for a very good price. However, as an example, the Margherita pizza at each venue is quite different, with the crust being part of the primary difference. While the pizzas are close to the same price, the Citrea pie is considerably more substantial, despite being the same size and having a paper thin crust as with the Blaze pizza. Citrea's crust is chewy, substantial, delicious. The Blaze crust is somewhat non-existent, except as a vehicle for the sauce. At Citrea, I request the fresh mozzarella on my pie, as they made them in the beginning. Some like it with the shredded mozzarella. Another positive aspect of Blaze is total customizability, for all toppings etc. But there is no way I would prefer a Blaze pie over a Citrea pie, though it would do in a pinch! Also, the service at Citrea is exceptional - we've had a number of very good servers over time, and have commented on how they always manage to get great people. You can eat there very inexpensively, if you just get a pizza, but the prices can become somewhat high, depending on which salads and other dishes you might order. However, what you get is also consistent, inventive, and very good. We love, love this place, with outdoor seating in the summer - it's Binghamton's best kept secret!
I'm traveling on business and typically do not order pizza (holy carbs!). With that being said, I stayed in a hotel that does not offer room service (shock, horror, do not get me started...) and was STARVING. I ordered a pepperoni pizza expecting disaster. Happily, I could not be more wrong. The NY-Style pizza is out of this world! I will definitely be back on my next trip- this place is well-worth some extra treadmill time.To top off the entire experience, the woman who took my order and delivered my pizza was extremely warm and inviting.

There were numerous toppings to choose from...as for the not fresh comment made earlier I have to say...we prefer our pie reheated as it makes it so much more crispy and delicious :) All of the pizza was fresh enough, made just that minute? No, but it would be impossible for them to stay in business and have such a vast selection if it was all "fresh" out of the oven. It was a bit more in price than I thought it should be but I would certainly still go back. Sometimes you pay for quality. The staff were very friendly and kind. We do not get this type of pizza anymore due to the locations of the country we have lived in and we miss it greatly. We were very pleased with out meal.
This is basically a take out place; you call ahead, you order and the last four digits of your cell phone number become your order number. Friendly, fast service. Ordered two spinach and broccoli calzones. fabulously delicious, with tomato and garlic sauce on the side. Prices -- so far -- are extremely reasonable. Plenty of parking, so no worries as to the Johnson City Floral Avenue location. We will definitely order again -- looking forward to trying their pizza and other calzones (many combinations available, and you can also design your own). Definitely service with a smile.

We had an order of pizza and wings for 5pm last night and they arrived bang on time !!We had a half of pepperoni and half sausage - 12 slices in all. We also had 12 garlic & parmesan wings which were lovely and crispy - the pizza was also fantastic. I now look forward to lunchtime today so I can have the leftovers. Yum!

Ordered the Meat Pizza (Beef, Canadian Bacon, Bacon, Pepperoni and Ham) on-line, paid by card and set a pick-up time of 5:30. No hassle !! Was early at Papa John's and the pizza was ready and handed over with a smile. This was the best combination pizza I have had, the best thin crust which was both juicy and crispy at the same time !!Will certainly be ordering this again - the information is stored on their website - so one click and another one is one it's way !!

Cortese has been around forever, and shows no sign of losing patrons. Their menu has any number of items that draw on recipes that have been used and refined for many years. Some of my personal favorites are the clams posilipo(lots of anchovy), hot pies, and chicken marsala.Reasonable prices too...

Hubby had a taste for pizza so he ordered it from our favorite place which is about 25 mins. from our house. We grew up in JC eating this pizza. When I called they said bring it back and we'll give you another one. Well guess what we won't be going back there for some time. Aldo would not be happy.
