Reviews on Pizza food in Isola Vulcano, Italy. According to the Ancient Greeks, the god Hephaestus used Isolo Vulcano as sort of his own private blacksmith shop. Here you can clamber up volcanoes like Scalata al Cratere and rejuvenate in the warm and gooey sulfur mud baths of Laghetto di Fanghi. Kayaking is a popular way to take in the beauty of Vulcano’s grottoes and coastlines.

Great food for lunch and dinner right at the black sand beach. The antipasti buffet in the evening is outstanding and the pizza also really good. They also welcome guests for dinner who do not stay at the hotel.

A very simple place, but what a view from an open terrace! It is a family business, so you will be treated like friends of the family, with some Italian charm. Pasta and pizza are typical food for Italy, so enjoy it with a glass of Italian beer or a glass of Sicilian wine.

We arrived late from a tour to Stromboli and visited la Piazzetta. Although it was already late, we were very welcomed by the staff and had some delicious and fresh food! Oh, and they also serve draught beer :)!

Found by chance during our sailing trip over Aeolian Islands - and we repeated our visit. Delicious food and great wine, very pleasant environment. Only the service is a bit slow however this really does not matter if you are on holiday down in the south of Italy :). We will come back again.

Nice outdoor table seating, bit old fashioned decor but if you are after a Great Pizza go here. Very tasty and delicious, good size and reasonably priced between on average 7-9 â¬. Very friendly Waiter and helpful. Restaurant is seasonal, closes end of November and reopens April, when staff go back to their towns and villages on Sicillia. Seem one of the older but very consistent restaurants.

After hiking up and down the Volcano crater I came here for lunch, since the place near the harbour looked pleasant and with a lot of space between the tables, which I always like. There is outdoor and indoor seating. Service was friendly and professional. My choice had been a 'Insalata Tirrenica', with canned tuna, boiled potatoes, crisp bread, tomatoes, capers and a lot of oregano. If I missed something it was onions. Olive Oil (from Barbera) and Aceto Balsamico were brought separetely to the table.Afterwards I had an espresso, which is from the roastery 'Maimone' in Messina. Asking for the bill, I was surprised how reasonable the prices were. What fascinated me also was the 'Stevenson' name of the place. With the bill comes a business card, on which a part of the story is mentioned: of a Mr. James Stevenson, born in Wales 1822, who in 1870 bought land on Volcano to produce malmsey wine.

Ideale per pranzi veloci , rosticceria siciliana, carne siciliana di qualità , e tanto altro, la sera pizza o braceria. il tutto utilizzando solo prodotti genuini e controllati a prezzi molto controllati.
10 euro set deal brought a starter, main and a soft drink. Large portion of well-cooked aubergine and tomato rolls, crisp chicken leg, fluffy arancini bites and a herby chicken cutlet. Great value at 20 euros and set us up for the rest of the day. Friendly service too.

Good food, reasonably priced and the most impressive bit was the speed of service by very friendly and efficient staff. We visited on the last day of our Sicily 10 day holiday and this was by far the best service we had received anywhere. Amazing Vulcano pizza!

Letâs start with the positive thing. This beach is the best on Vulcano and you have to make a stop here. Fine black sand, view on Sicily and the ocean even with nets to block jellyfish if you do not want to take the risk in the ânet freeâ zone. Unfortunately the only restaurant here is the Asino Beach. We had two pizzas for lunch and though it was cooked in a stone oven it was the worst pizza I had in Italy yet. The dough was soft and gummy. I had the incredible amount of three slices of salami picante on my whole pizza. In summery: go to this beach but bring your own food with you!

We had rented a car for the day on the island so wanted to find somewhere a little further out from the main town. We came across this restaurant and they were welcoming from the start. No need for menus, "what do you like?".We had two lovely pasta dishes and some fresh bruschetta appeared. Very reasonable prices.Worth the short drive.
