Spectacular local Pizza joint with excellent burgers all food is good at Jim's. Located in the heart of downtown Hancock. Not associated with Jim's Pizza in Calumet.
I've eaten delivered pizza from Jim's literally hundreds of times, and I'm about disgusted with them. Sometimes it has been really excellent, maybe they had better cheese or sauce those days, or a different cook. More often it is not so good. The worst thing is 25 to 30% of the pizzas are burnt on the bottom, sometimes just black as coal and flaking black ashes all over and all we can do is scrape the toppings off and salvage them. I don't know how they can send out burnt crap like that. We are a big customer of theirs, but if I was doing the ordering I'd have stopped a long time ago.
This Little Ceasars is located conveniently in the downtown area of Houghton, but is very close to the bridge to Hancock as well. The hot n'ready selection was great. I walked in, notice about four people waiting, and thought they must have been out of the ready to go pizzas. I asked what they had available, and there were several choices. I was in and out in less than 5 minutes, and off to a nice picnic with the kids.

I was at the hotel without a car, so I ordered a pizza on line from Domino's. The pizza was delivered to my door within 20 minutes, hot and cheesy!

The lasagna portion was huge- could have fed 2 or small family. My wife's salad was very good also. The Gazpacho soup had a great fresh flavor (cold by design) Garlic toast was served with the meal. The featured drink Armarotto Sour hit the spot . Service was attentive and timely.

Studio Pizza and the Historic Orpheum Theater! Easy parking, great atmosphere, less than 1 mile from our old location! Pizzas pizza lovers love! And a Historic Vaudeville Theater too, featuring live music from nationally touring bands and solo artists! Th
We have our favorite pizza in our hometown in WI, but were traveling the UP and stopped here. Unbelievably delicious!! And better than our hometown fav. Fresh, the sauce is perfect and the crust super thin and crispy. We will be thinking about this pizza for a long time to come!

Service was fast and friendly. Food was great. If you don't like Pizza Hut, don't come here. That said, there is a reason they are #1.
Milly's pizza was recommended to us by a local merchant. He said get alot of their food from local people. We ordered the pepperoni special. The crust is like a pan style which was tasty. They offered both old style and new style topping choices. Nice place.

visiting KBC next door after a long trip from UK the day before, we had one of the best pizzas I've ever had - including Pisa in Italy. It was just great and not too pricey either. Definitely recommended.

Locals best kept secret for dinner since 1982 - Downtown Hancock.
We tried something different this year & I like the cozy atmosphere/euro vibe of this place. The French toast was really good. My father didnât care for his pasta carbonara but I thought it was good & much easier than making at home. Your typical meat & potatoes yooper might object to the menu, but those with any sense of adventure will find it just fine.

We spent the day on the Keweenauw Peninsula and after driving back from the beauty across "the bridge", we drove back into Houghton looking for a nice cooked meal. We settled on the Ambassador because of the variety of food there. We got the pizza and loved it, sat at a big window looking out over the canal, and just soaked up the energy of this popular hangout - lots of young people (presumably from Michigan Tech) really made the place fun and lively. Our waitress was cute and friendly and made us feel welcome and answered all our questions about how to pronounce the unpronouncable UP names... great place to stop you will not be disappointed!
