Outside it looks ordinary, but the restaurant part is smart, modern with a seaside theme. They have excellent salads, omelettes, steak haches, etc besides lovely pizzas. Very cheerful helpful staff, who were very patient and friendly with our grandchildren. The wines are very reasonable with one of the best Muscadets l have ever tried.

Continuez

My husband an I were camping close by and weâre looking for somewhere to eat on our last night and found La Calzone pizzeria, which was one of the very few places open, as this was the end of September and lots of places are closed after the summer. We booked a table for 7.30. We were the first customers, donât forget French people eat late! But it was full by the time we left, with local people which is always a sign of a good restaurant. We chose a nice wine while waiting for our pizza. Normally I cannot eat a whole pizza and leave most of the crust because itâs too thick so what a pleasant surprise to have this beautiful pizza with paper thin crispy base in front of me. It was absolute delicious, topped with local products such as artichoke which grows all over the North Coast Of Brittany. The owner was very welcoming and we would definitely go back if we are in the area.

We popped in her for lunch when driving around the villages and found this really excellent restaurant. It looks a little basic from the outside but service, welcome and food was brilliant! We enjoyed cold beer and some nibbles followed by a superb vegetarian pizza and a rape de berger - a goat's cheese and potato dish with cream, garlic and wine - rather heavy for lunch but my husband managed to clear the very large and beautiful terracotta dish! My pizza was enormous and the vegetables fresh and cooked al dente - if you dont like raw egg, ask them not to put one in the middle as this is how they serve it. Bread came in a mini shopping trolley - quite a novel idea!37 Euros including a litre of Vittel. The restaurant filled up with locals and it was obviously quite popular - a very nice stop and would go again!Thank you very much for your nice message !You are welcome when you want ! (And sorry for my bad english...)
