That's probably the best complement you can get in Italy. Il Mulino is a typical family-run Italian pizza and more restaurant, in an old olive mill (hence the name). The pizzas and local specialities such as pasta with tartufo (truffels - there's also a white pizza with truffels) or pasta with boar ragu are just excellent, and the selection is such that you could go every day for two weeks if a holiday without having to repeat a dish - unless you wanted to. Very very much recommended, also for the warmth of service.

I gladly take some time to review "Tu Fai" in Bastardo. If you are looking for a "typical traditional" place to eat, this might not be the restaurant for you: it's rather modern, in a new industrial-looking set of commercial buildings. But having said that, this was our single best eating experience during our stay in this region, because of multiple reasons. The staff is sincerely super friendly. We arrived (without reservation) early (much earlier than most local people tend to eat in the evening) while they were still in full preparation. We brought our (medium-sized dog) and inquired if we could bring him in. This wasn't a problem at all. They invited us in and accomodated us at a nice table on their terrace. After they brought us the menu it started raining and - even though we were seated under a large umbrella - they asked us if we'd rather move to a table inside, which we did. They spontaneously brought to our attention that they have WiFi available and provided us with the password. The connection was better than most places we've been at in Italy, and so the kids could enjoy some YouTube videos while we examined the menu and made our order. They have many things on offer: typical Italian food (a wide range of pizzas, pastas and roasted meats) but also (not-so-typical) burgers and fries. My youngest son was happy to be able to order a cheese burger with potato wedges, my oldest ordered a spaghetti a la carbonara, and me and my wife had pizza: me a diavola (spicy salami) and my wife a pizza with gorgonzola, pear and nuts. The woman apologized for the fact that the carbonara might take a while to be ready, but everything we ordered actually arrived rather fast. The quality of the food was excellent. Everything with fine, fresh ingredients. Super tasty. I had my fair share of pizzas, and this one can surely compete with the best ones of those. My wife had a glass of red wine with her pizza, and also that was excellent. We don't drink beer ourselves, but we noticed they had a huge variety of local and international beers ready to be served in their fridges (I even recognized "Brugse Zot" which is a Belgian specialty beer). I had the tiramisu as desert (and also that was clearly freshly made on the spot). Yummy! By the time we were about to leave, the place was getting crowded, so I guess if you plan on eating there later in the evening, it's a good idea to make a reservation, but you can also take out pizza (we saw a lot of pizza boxes picked up, and as tasty as the pizza was, I can understand that). Check came and everything is priced very reasonable. We will definitely visit Tu Fai again. I'm eager to try out their tagliata and/or their truffle pasta. Conclusion: we highly recommend this place!Queste sono le soddisfazioni per chi lavora con passione ringraziamo e spero che ci tornerete a trovare

Fresh tasty and inexpensive. Thatâs what you get when you buy here. Only for takeaway unfortunately. Would be great to sit and have a coffee with these delightful products. Enjoy

This is a very pleasant hotel restaurant on the outskirts of Bevagna, with plenty of parking. I've eaten here on many occasions, and always found it to be excellent. Tonight , for the first time, I ordered a pizza, so easy to get wrong! However, it was quite good, nice thin crust, one is plenty for two unless you're starving! It's a bit lacking in character, and not really a romantic getaway, but I'd still recommend it for either lunch or dinner.

We have a house in Collazzone and this restaurant is situated a couple of 100 meters from our house. Thus, we eat at Al Leone frequently. However, we do not eat there out of convenience, we eat there out of preference. It is a great restaurant with the best pizza around. They have a pizza oven in the locale and serve great Italian pizza with crispy, thin crust. You want your own pizza-composition? No problem- they will accommodate you. The owners are very nice people and the service is polite and friendly. They also serve nice, grilled chicken and good pasta. If you are in Umbria, close to Perugia, pay them a visit. Prices are also reasonable.

It's a new place run by young and talented guys, well decorated and cosy. The food was good and really plentiful, antipasto looked more like three course dinner. Pizza is giant, dough is thin and crispy. Nice place for dinner with a friends.

The restaurant is located in a beautiful village from where you can have a splendid view over the mountains and you can see in the horizon cities like Perugia and Torgiano. You can have different pizzas, pastas, great grilled meat or total menu with reasonable price and always ask what is kitchen's daily menu. Ask restaurant's own sommelier what wine he would suggest for you lunch or dinner. P.S They will also open their renovated small hotel with spa in the near future.Grazie

Upon returning to my favorite Italian town ( Bevagna) after a 2 year absence, I was looking forward to eating at favorite Pizzeria. Sadly I learned it had closed down. However my friends quickly took me to a new place it town in what used to be the old hardware store.I was totally surprised by the restoration and this restaurant is now a modern Pizzeria with gorgeous pictures on the walls and lovely table settings. No paper serviettes here either. The very friendly waitresses were helpful and obliging with prompt service The pizzas are amazing. Mine with sausage, mushrooms and truffles was generously covered. Shavings of truffles , not grated so I got the full truffle flavor I will be returning soon to this new gem in Bevagna. Sadly I forgot to take a photo. Next time !
