Been in area for 3 years, first visit, more out of curiosity since building was wiped out in a tornado and recently rebuilt. Interior of restaurant is beautiful! Pizza was decent. Wings were a weird breaded spicy. Husband indicated his burger was average. He said he would not want me to return .

I always use this location for bonus pizza treatment to celebrate great achievements of team members. Recommend. Fast delivery. Great pizza.
We're the official home of the 30' football pizza (feeds more than 4) and other specialty pies! In 1985, Frank immigrated from Sicily bringing his family recipes to America. Visit Galati Pizza to enjoy the Sicilian recipes from the old country.
Before I continue, please compare my photo of Galati's cheeseburger pizza to googling cheeseburger pizza under images. It's not even close, so therefore it makes me wonder if I order other pizzas on the menu, will I be deceived. I rate this establishment as a "2" only because the staff was very courteous and each ingredient mentioned on the cheeseburger pizza did in fact make my pizza, BUT covering a pizza with Cheddar & Mozzarella Cheese DOES NOT make the pizza a cheeseburger, by a long shot!

We were in the area on a Saturday evening because of our son's baseball game. We decided to stop here before driving the hour plus drive home. We have four kids, so we are a party of 6. We were told it would be about a 30 minute wait for a table, but we could pre-order so our food would be ready when we arrived at our table. We ordered our food right away. It was pretty late for us, but we figured since the food would be ready close to when our table was, it would be ok still. We waited about 45 minutes for our table. Then we ended up waiting almost another hour at the table for our food. Not sure why it took so long. The waitress was pretty forgetful when we asked for items like utensils and water. It took us asking at least two times to get them. The food was really great, but if we would have known it would have taken so long, we would not have stayed there. By the time we were all done eating, my youngest was laying on my lap because he was so tired. The food was a 5 star, but the service and wait was way too long.

I can't speak to the sandwiches or pasta here. I always order an ultra-thin crust pizza with lots of peppers, onions, mushrooms and Italian sausage. I have never been disappointed. Usually do a pick up order. They are super nice in there.

Hunting lodge vibe. Peanut shells litter floor, so be advised if any ground nut allergies or guests with unsure footing.Thin crust Pizza cut in Chicago squares. other basic bar appetizers and snack bar sandwiches with a couple of salads for the weight watchers.Everything seemed to be from a prepackaged bag. Sauces in prepackaged peel and use cups. Table service using paper plates.Long server wait and needed to flag waitress for initial glasses of water.Overall, not a value.

We ordered for delivery several times, and continue to do so. They are very generous with portions, and the lasagna is wonderful. Chicken fingers are pretty good, little tough in spots. BBQ and Honey Mustard sauces just aren't that great. Passable. Pizza is good, with a nice crust that isn't super thin. Little bit greasy but gives some good flavor. Tim the manager is awesome. We live in Gurnee, and we ordered from this Grayslake location and then found out there was one that is in Gurnee and tried it. BIG mistake. The meals were all very different and definitely lacking. Lasagna was much smaller and packaged differently. Breadsticks were different. We went back to our Grayslake location immediately!

My husband and I stopped here for a quick bite to eat while in the area. The Italian Beef was a very generous portion. The fries were fresh and hot. Our whole meal for two sandwiches, two orders of fries, and two drinks was less than $15. Their pizza also looked delicious! We will try that next time for sure. Definitely worth a visit!

So we get 2 pizzas every week (seriously, it's our splurge). Sometimes we pickup but mostly get delivered. One of the biggest reasons we have this is they have a gluten free pizza and it's not Udis (which everyone else uses)! Ok..so the gluten free is good but the deep dish is out of this world! Really..and we don't even get the buttercrust (wowzer..yum..yum). The pizza is always good..always done how we ask. Things to know:Look at the serving sizes..if it says serves 2..it might serve 3 esp if you get the deep dish, which really you should! Also..if you have any picky eaters, like me, the sauce is chunky..like I was that a whole tomato on that slice? Good for some but picky ones may have to pick off some chunks.
