On a Sunday evening we were looking for a nice place to eat - a lot of the osterias and other restaurants were closed (maybe due to the summer vacation?), so we saw this pizzeria which was advertising that you can chose which type of flower you want your pizza dough/pastry made of. The inside looked very cute, all rather new, colorful and friendly looking people plus: locals picking up pizza there :). At first we thought you can only have take-away food, but there is space for about 8-9 people to sit at a counter. So we both chose a pastry type and different ingredients we wanted on our pizza - even my rare wish to have the pizza without cheese was no problem. Though we don't speak Italian very well and the people there only know a little English the communication was fine and we all laughed a lot. Now the most important thing: the pizza was awesome! You could taste the different types of flour used and all ingredients were fresh. If we weren't leaving soon, we'd definitely go there again: great people & great food.

Abbiamo mangiato in questa pizzeria in occasione della fiera di San Giorgio a Gravina... Siamo rimasti super soddisfatti il rapporto qualità prezzo è super.. à il titolare Antonio è stato gentilissimo con noi inoltre a degustato i nostri palati anche con piccoli assaggi extra del caseificio di famiglia.. Tutto in questa pizzeria ristorante è a km 0..le pietanze sono preparate direttamente dalla moglie del titolare.. Abbiamo mangiato un ottimo antipasto all'italiana condito da mozzarella fresca del caseificio del padre del titolare, orecchiette con funghi di Gravina e salsiccia.. Come secondo scaloppine con funghi porcini ottima e oltre a questo abbiamo anche avuto altri assaggini extra offerti gentilmente dal titolare.. Tra cui un ottimo formaggio sempre prodotto dal loro caseificio..infine un bel caffè è un limoncello è valsa davvero la pena usare maps per raggiungere questo locale.. Sicuramente ci torneremo in futuro per mangiare una bella pizza.. Grazie di tutto davvero Antonio.. Super consigliato se volete mangiare bene con prodotti freschi in un locale moderno pulito se siete a Gravina è il posto giusto per voi..

L'attesa è interminabile! Mai stata in una pizzeria per 3 e ½h. Inoltre abbiamo atteso altro tempo perché le pizze erano state confuse.Il cibo è buono, ma non si possono occupare più tavoli di quanti se ne possano servire.

This is an interesting pub that sits above an enormous ancient cavern in the center of Gravina in Puglia. There is some outdoor seating, but the interior, into which you step down a flight of stairs, is the real charm of the place. A rather small bar with several beer taps, an array of bottled beers and some very decent wines, sits to the right. further along is some rustic seating, and even further along is a staircase that leads to underground Gravina and an enormous cavern carved out of the stone and housing a very large seating area as well as very clean restrooms.The mood inside and out is on the young and energetic side, and there is a prominent feeling of laid-back fun. We enjoyed more than one visit to The Cave Pub, and we enjoyed them all. There is a small menu with pizzas, pub food, steak frites, grilled meats, mushrooms, and more. The food is not bad, and maybe even better than one might expect, but this is not a dining destination by any means, but a gathering place where the camaraderie comes first, the beverages come second and the food third. If we lived around Gravina in Puglia, we would return again and again just to meet friends, have a few beers/wine, and just enjoy life. There is a Facebook page (The Cave Pub) with plenty of photos. If you are looking for a meeting place in Gravina, you will do well at The Cave.

My friend took me this restaurant the other day. I was surprised because "English pub " in Gravina, Italy!! But there are so Delicious Food, Good atmosphere, Service respectful, Good value for money,,,What do you want anything else? This is a Perfect, a highly recommended restaurant.

Located just behind the cathedrale, this place offers an outstanding view of the ruins in Gravina in Puglia. Definitely worth it, both during the day and at night. There is so much history there.The pizza were truly delicious, in particular the ones with mascarpone. Ask for the napolitan style, probably one of the best pizza I have ever had. We also ordered a mixed apetizers (great sausages), came up with some extra mozzarela di buffala (courtesy of the owner). Last we took different desserts (local specialties but I don't remember the name). The entire meal was fantastic, service excellent and in the end really affordable. So highly recommended from a casual pizza between friends to a romantic dinner!

Very nice, good atmosphere, food of quality and clean. The young owners are very kind and the waiters are efficient and kindliness. They have a lot of good pizza and starter and at the end the cost is very cheap. I suggest to try it.

interesting cave-like pub bar which served outstanding pizza in a pleasant quiet at,osphere. I'm sure it gets jumping later in the evening but we early eating Americans missed that aspect.
