Typical Piedmontese cuisine, pizza, themed evenings. We cook typical dishes of the Piedmont tradition, mushrooms and truffles according to the season
A traditional Italian pizzeria. Good service and great pizzas. This is a little hidden gem waiting for people to find it.

There is nothing about the location of Re Artu that would attract the casual traveler, located as it is at the end of a small shopping center at the side of a heavily trafficked state road. However, our friends in neighboring towns have dubbed it their favorite pizzeria, and with good reason. Pizza is excellent, including some of the lesser-familiar combinations (on a friend's recommendation, we enjoyed the sausage and gorgonzola with sauteed onions). We've heard good things about the appetizers, can personally vouch for the desserts, and there's a separate menu to accommodate all the beer offerings. There is nothing special about the modern decor, but the atmosphere is one of freshness and efficiency, accompanied by friendly, welcoming service. We return to this area annually, and supper here is always on our to-do list.

Fuori Tempo: we make healthy, tasty and easily digestible pizzas, using only high quality ingredients: stone ground flour (100% Italian wheat, type "1" flour), San Marzano DOP tomatoes, mozzarella "Fiordilatte", extra vergine olive oil, selectioned Italia
With the knowledge of having visited Naples a month ago, we went to this restaurant with a sense to remain relatively "fair" and not to benchmark with the pizza temples in Naples. But what a surprise!!! It was so good and the pizza can easily compete with the best in Italy. The reason is quite simple. There where in Naples everything is controlled and needs to meet "the requirements" this place does it voluntary; dough that seems to have rested also a bit, San Marzano (Vesuvius) tomatoes, DOP mozzarella and other ingredients also from the best. The result is stunning and outside of Naples, this was the best pizza I have eaten.. There is however one big difference vs Naples pizzeria's; here the staff is friendly and seems to enjoy their work! Parfetto! Ps; don't miss the delicious desserts too..

And that's not in the order that everyone prefers, but they do all of them exceptionally well. The summer months afford the luxury of the terrace seating and views at sunset. The stomach desires pizzas, and theirs are wood fired, generously appointed with whatever you crave (even chips and wurst if you so desire). The impressive beer list would make you think it'd be full of rowdy yobs, but this place is classy. They have a section for the kids to play in, and the staff are prompt and knowledgeable about the menu (and mostly speak English too!)Book your table if you are planning a dinner in the busy season; although 6 of us turned up and they found us the last table on the vast terrace.

If, like me, you crave pizza - this is the closest to heaven. In the evenings Eataly serves wood-fired pizzas inside, or on the terrace out back. There is a good selection of pastas, specials of the day - and don't miss the ever-changing Antipasti platter.Once you've wined and dined, pick up your groceries on your way to the till. Eataly stocks locally sourced and in-season fruit and vegetables, as well as dairy, meats and drinks. The deli has an array of pastas, olive oils, jams and homeware too. Freshness and Seasonality seem to be what they are going for. Don't forget to have a coffee before leaving.

Very well organised pizzeria. Good and fast service. Tastfull pizza.eating on the terrace is possible. I gave it 4 points . It would have been 5 , but the toilet was dirty. I hope this is just an incident. Nevertheless go there and enjoy a good pizza.

My husband and I spend a month in the Cuneo region of Piedmont each year. We make it a point to have lunch several times each trip at Peperone Rosso because we love their pizza. Many Italian pizzerias do not serve pizza at lunch but at Peperone Rosso there is "pizza a pranzo" every day. In addition to a large selections of pizzas, there are many other dishes on the menu plus daily specials. The daily specials are written on a chalk board. Our Italian friends had a fish soup which they said was excellent. In fact, after we introduced them to Peperone Rosso, they returned again on their own. The restaurant is very casual and it is clearly a neighborhood restaurant. It is popular with the locals which is always a sign of a good restaurant in Italy. Peperone Rosso is run by a married couple. The husband cooks and the wife is in the dining room. They are both very friendly and will cheerfully accommodate a request to add or remove ingredients in a dish if it is at all possible. We communicate in my limited Italian and I do not think much, if any English, is spoken by the owners. However, on our most recent visit, the wife proudly showed us a new menu with English translations. Peperone Rosso is a simple, family-owned restaurant serving good quality food and excellent pizza at reasonable prices. In nice weather, there are a few tables set up for dining on the sidewalk out front. The atmosphere is warm and friendly and my husband and I felt at home on our very first visit. Now we always look forward to our next "pizza a pranzo" at Peperone Rosso.

What kind hospitality. We have been to Govone twice and both times the restaurant has been closed. We were so pleased this evening that they were open! Homemade pastas, antipasti ( the zucchini omelette and black rice salad were the stars) and pizzas we should have ordered.. Great value for money. We highly recommend. The wine list offers wines from the region and the family is very knowledgeable about the details. We will make sure to return.

We visited this pizzeria just because it was the only place in the area that still had free tables for lunch and we were not dissapointed!!! The pizza was enormous and VERY TASTY! Well organised place, nice staff and lovely view on the surrounding hills.

My pizza and Picky Partner's mixed grill were the largest serves we have ever had! We could only get through half and the kind staff packed the rest for us to take home. My pizza also had the most topping I have ever had. Overall, great - and generous - food, kind wait staff and great value. Definitely recommend and we would be happy to return.
