Gourock (/ˈɡʊərək/ ( listen) GOOR-ək; Scottish Gaelic: Guireag [kuɾʲak]) is a town falling within the Inverclyde council area and formerly forming a burgh of the county of Renfrew in the West of Scotland. It has in the past functioned as a seaside resort on the East shore of the upper Firth of Clyde. Its principal function today, however, is as a popular residential area, extending contiguously from Greenock, with a railway terminus and ferry services across the Clyde.

we Visit La Cantina reasonably regularly and are never disappointed. My recent visit was no different. VAried menu offering plenty of options. Food cooked to order and cooked well! Staff were pleasent and attentive. Dishes were well presented and very tasty. I happily recommend La Cantina and it wont be long until i am back for more.

Ordered on Just Eat at 5:30 it changed to delivered which it wasnât, called the shop to enquire and was told it the delivery person was just leaving with it now. Hate when this happens really poor poor service. Havenât even tasted the food yet but will not be ordering from here again.

I can only comment on the pizzas from this takeaway as I have never ordered anything else. Based on the pizza I would recommend this place and would definitely go back. The toppings were plentiful and we received little pots of dips with our order which we were not expecting.

We sailed into Rhu and one of the other visitors recommended this place. We tried to make a booking but were told that they were full but if we turned up they might fit us in. We were duly provided with a table. We all had pizzas and all agreed that they were very good. Staff all friendly and helpful. Excellent value for money. The decor was fine if uninspiring and the chairs / tables basic. Tables a bit too close. Had they confirmed a booking for us and if the place was a bit more comfortable they might have got an excellent.

Comfy booths & tables available in this quirky little place filled with memorabilia & collectables. When you keep it simple you're going to get it spot-on! The pizza is light and soft, super thin and full of flavour. The tomatoes are sweet and tangy, there's the perfect amount of cheese and the quality of the topings is first class. I couldn't get enough! To top it off, I've not had a better macchiato anywhere else in town. The staff and friendly and attentive. Really looking forward to going back!
