We went twice in a week, pasta alla Norma and gnocchi with pistacchio cream were the best you can have proper "Sicilian food", we also had beef fillet that was perfectly cooked with outstanding peper and gorgonzola sauce.I would recommend this restaurant anytime

When you get here, the restaurant truly feels like fine dining, with white table cloths, nicely dressed staff and amazing view. We ordered veal and ribeye and was extremely disappointed. We asked the waiter if it came with any sides, and they replied yes. The meal literally came with meat and fries. Seriously the food could have come from a kebab shop. Most disappointing meal we have had so far. The meat was also extremely overcooked.

This restaurant is OK. The food is satisfactory but nothing special. Its cover charge is higher than other establishments we went to while staying here and it doesnât actually seem to cover anything and this is one of the few restaurants where no complimentary liqueur was forthcoming. No particular reason to come here as opposed to other places in the town.

Food superb - best peppered steak weâd ever eaten. We were in holiday for 10 days and went here several times. The waiters were wonderful. The food simple and delicious. Best restaurant in Naxos. Nothing is expensive and you can go for snacks and a drink or a full three courses. If we go back weâd definitely head here. The owner is very proud of being there and so he should be. This place is delightful.

Sorry but this restaurant does not merit 4.5 stars. In my family's four-week trip throughout Italy this was our one disappointing meal. My pasta with sardines and side of spinach with garlic, and the burrata and tomatoes in my wife's Caprese salad were flavorless.. The bread was dry. Service was desultory except when the waiter pressed us to order sides of grilled vegetables to go with our fish, all of which were also mediocre.

So we found ourselves in the beach town of Giadiani Naxos on an extremely rainy Sunday afternoon and the beach was deserted, but we were in need of a meal and a few other souls stuck for what to do were gathered here. The staff did their best to remain chipper and cheerful and were very professional (obviously used to busier times!). Despite the lack of atmosphere we all had lovely pasta or fish dishes, a few beers and shared a pleasant desert. I'm sure the experience is much better on a sunny day as it has a prime spot and plenty of beach chairs/umbrellas.

We went here one evening to celebrate my partners 50th birthday. We wished we'd stayed in the hotel and eaten.My partner had seafood soup which seemed to be water eith a seafood packet added and a few mussles. Lacked depth, it was advertised as chowder. He had fried octopus and chips. Very poor and I had steak and chips. Steak was nice but garnish was a bit of lettuce and slice if tomato.

La Spelonca is a charming, rustic and welcoming local Italian restaurant in Catania, Sicily. Ran by the warmest lady Betrem, who I was lucky enough to let the day before I dined there (6th September 2019). Fresh bread, which you don't get at all restaurants in the area. Swordfish Rolls delicatable, just the right amount of seasoning and garnish.Their Spaghetti Scoglio was absolutely amazing...I will definitely be returning to have this again!Desserts were also superb, we had both the Tiramisu and Pannacotta with Berries.A well deserved 5 stars! Tip: Definitely go hungry...you'll be glad you did!Happy Eating!

Just been there with my wife for lunch. We got a very rich appetizer, per owner's suggestion and it was really good. it started with raw fish (tuna, shrimps, clams, sea snail and aromatized dried salmon ),followed by caponata, shrimp cocktail and, at the end, fried calamari and shrimps. Local white wine was nice, from Santa Venerina, a local town close to Giardini Naxos. Service was friendly and efficient. Definitely a go and we will be back!

The only place we ate at twice. The service was excellent and we only ended up here because we couldnât get in to the very over rated and disappointing restaurant next door with the queue. What a result! First time we had the beef fillet with cheese fondue. Oh my god. No steak knife needed. Next visit I had the Vongole. By far the best Iâd ever had. The wine was food. The bread was beautiful and fresh. Honestly, donât miss this place out. Excellent. Grazie per aver recensito il nostro ristorante. à un onore sapere che siamo stati lâunico posto in cui abbiate mangiate per due volte. La nostra carne è selezionata grazie al nostro macellaio Alberto che ci rifornisce della prodotto migliore. La nostra carta dei vini è di certo ricca ma la dobbiamo migliorare.
