Restaurant has a pub-like atmosphere. Definitely not fine dining. Typical Afrikaner dishes on the menu. Would be good venue for the boys to have a beer out while watching sports on the TV channels.

Panarottis Welkom is big on pizza & pasta. Our restaurant is well known for a great dining experience with our authentic Italian menu. We are famous for kids parties & fun family outings.
We are quite regular Panarotti's customers, we love the food, service and the atmosphere, especially the Welkom branch. We went there recently for a quick pizza and a drink and the food and service was very good as always. Our only concern is that the prices for the food and drinks are becoming really expensive, making it very difficult for the average family to come and enjoy a good meal and a few drinks.Hopefully the decision makers will come to their sense before it is too lateRegards,Hello Klipkraal,Thank you for taking the time to review our Welkom Panarottis family restaurant. We appreciate your constructive feedback. If you would like to discuss this further, please forward this on together with your contact details to [email protected] and we'll get in touch with you. Kind regards, Panarottis Pizza Pasta

We actually came about this lovely spot quite accidentally. It was just off the main road, looked cosy romantic and had people in it (Parys is not a place to go for night life). The hospitality we received from the warm genuine welcome to the lovely service was incomparable. The owners are really involved in their establishment and take a lot of care to make sure everyone is happy. Can we talk about the Orangecino (think Lemoncino but with Orange) this is the only place you can get one and its Christos mothers special recipe. I highly recommend this restaurant for couples, for families and even friends wanting to meet up over a delicious meal and amazing wine.

Die Ou Kar restaurant and pub is situated in the main road of Bethulie town and is the most popular venue for great food and ice cold beer in Bethulie. A unique, true ''plattelandse'' experience, that will stay with you forever... We specialise in steaks,
Absolutely love this place; we have been a few times and love it every time we go. The staff and management are super friendly and have always delivered a delicious meal. I see a number of reviews complaining about slow service; well what people need to remember is that this is the platteland and nothing happens in a hurry; you are supposed to sit back relax and enjoy the wonderful location; enjoy your meal and the company of the people you are with. Don't rush just enjoy the moment.

Kerdoni's Baysvillage Pizza & Pasta:A unique little Italian home away from Italy where even non-Italians feel at home and venture to sample not only the Italian fare but also attempt their hand at silly Italian expressions.
We stopped by on a busyâish Tuesday night without reservations - were able to get a table for two. I suspect it gets busier on the weekends when booking maybe necessary. Service was initially slow but got better as the evening progressed. As it is in TripAdvisorâs No. 2 spot for pizza in Bloemontein - gave the Vegetarian No.2 a try (spinach, feta, olives, pepperdews). My friend tried the build your own gluten free option - cauliflower base with choice of 3 toppings. The extensive menu includes starters, pasta, drinks and wines.Thoroughly enjoyed our wood fired pizza - base was thin enough, right proportion of toppings and well seasoned veggies - no salt required! Tried the Very Berry Cocktails, (2 for R45/approx $3) - very light and fruity but packs a subtle punch with cane, vodka, lime, malibu and cranberry juice. So good - had to try them twice! For dessert we shared a banana split calzone! Yes - folded pastry with banana and caramel as the filling - yummy!A lovely cold night out and welcoming, hearty food. Bill for 2 with food, 2 rounds of drinks, dessert and tip was about R410 (approx $29). Definitely will go back!

Luckily we booked in advance and managed to get a table. The restaurant was fully booked. We had to wait a bit longer for the food. Otherwise, the food was good and it was great to go there. Most of the restaurants close early in Clarens. It's better to book in advance for dinner.

A family restaurant serving up great pizza and pasta, grill options with burgers and steaks. Fireplace and kids jungle gym complete the experience
My wife & I had dinner on Thursday evening, a casual restaurant with the most authentic taste of Italy in Clarens...why go anywhere else? With Great pizzas, luscious starters and a range of pasta and traditional Italian dishes, there is something here for everyone, try it...you will keeping returning again and again.Glad to say, it was great and deserves the great reviews. Not only was the food great, a great vibe, lovely, friendly staff in a relaxed setting. Well worth going !

Lucky to find a parking spot right in front of the restaurant, otherwise parking could have been a problem. Met by the friendly staff and taken to our table. We chose smoking area and for once it wasn't a little tuck-away shoe-box. Very pleasant and right next to the bar, which was manned by a friendly, knowledgeable barman. The food was excellent. I can recommend the veal medallions. We started chatting to other customers and ended up all sitting around one table and "kuiered" the evening away. Never felt rushed by the staff and service was permanently yet unobtrusively available. The price tag was also much less than I expected.
