We have eaten here several times for dinner. It is near the Cistern in Formia. The Cistern is only open for viewing Saturday and Sunday 4:30-7:30 but it is worth visiting! Only 2 euros each. After visiting the Cistern have dinner at Vizi & Virtu. The chef is inventive and quality conscious. There is Italian food with a twist. Zuppa di Ceci only 5 euros. A wonderful Fritto Misto with vegetables and tiny arancini 9 euro. Delicious sandwiches "Crostoni" with yummy melted cheese only 6 euro.

Instead of just requesting their daily lunch special, you should try the smoked swordfish with a carpaccio of tuna and salmon which is delicious. Situated on the Mediterranean shoreline, Zio Pesce takes the freshness of its fish seriously, and their daily specials are from whatever the Sea offers up. Don't be put off by the restaurant's size and modesty, and leave your choices up to the owner's suggestions. We enjoyed their desserts. I had âzabaione con lingue di gattoâ (eggnog with catâs tongue cookies), and my friend ordered a soufflé full of melted chocolate.

Great service and Great atmosphere! Excellent food and always fresh. The Seafood, Pizza, and Pasta are always fresh and homemade. Great desserts, beverage selection, and service is outstanding. This is a nice and beautiful restaurant that is near the sea and has easy parking as well. Highly recommend this restaurant to families, couples for date nights, and/or lunch. Very nice newly remodeled restaurant.

This is the best place to become a regular by far. The pizza, kebabs, porqueta, and atmosphere make this place. It's relatively inexpensive and the food is fantastic. Mario works the front and speaks ok english, if you're intimidated, just walk in and ask for a "kebab with everything" smile and hand them 4 Euro. You will not be disappointed. Once you've tried your hand at that a few times and feel like living a tad more on the danger side, ask for the kebab pizza. You may have to cancel your evening plans after eating that however, its hard to top that experience. Opens at about 18:00

Clean appearance, friendly staff, they try hard to do their best and are very polite. Pizza is good, above average in Formia. Pros: they use excellent ingredients which are listed on their easy to read menus; cons: they use too much cheese (mozzarella/ fior di latte) on the pizzas, it covers all the other flavors.

Pizza-Restaurant in Formia, open for dinner during the week and for lunch on Sundays an for Parties. A great "All You Can Eat" Buffet on Fridays at only 15⬠analchoolic beverages included. We often organize Events such as "Tapas & Paella" or "Vegan-Vegeta
We have eaten in Al Sedano Allegro on and off over many years and every time I have intended to send a review. Now, I'm doing it.A family restaurant run by MariaGiovanna and Roberto it is much more than a Pizzeria which is its main claim to fame. The Squiz Squaz is worth a visit on its own. A folded pizza with mozzarella, tomato, rocket. There is a limited Menu but that is made up by the fact that everything on the Menu is freshly prepared and cooked. On Fridays there is a buffet. A wonderful spread of tantalizing local produce, all for â¬15.00.But the overall abiding experience is the welcoming, friendly, athmosphere. We have recommended Al Sedano Allegro to all our friends from Ireland who visit this part of Italy and all, especially those with children have echoed this sentiment.

This pizzeria is literally a hole in the wall on a street corner. There is no place to eat your pizza so you need to take it out and enjoy it on one of the benches in the adjacent square. I go the the margherita and it never disappoints. The location here is out of the way of the normal traffic so the prices are more reasonable the other pizzerie located on the main road. It is work deviating 200 meters from your normal walk to enjoy pizza here.Thank you for your feedback , you will always be welcome

Dal 1957 a Formia la famiglia Chinappi è l'attrazione di questa cittadina tirrenica, che con le sue tradizioni enogastronomiche rendono questo ristorante una sosta obbligatoria
We ordered a mix of pasta and pizza. The service was very friendly and food was brought reasonably fast. The pizza was one of the best pizzas we ever had. My pasta was OK but nothing really special and the in the crab pasta the taste of crab was missing. Unfortunately the restaurant didn't offer an open wine, so we had to take a bottle of pinot nero, which was not my taste. Not their fault, but the wine list contains more proseccos than red vines. The dessert was a real disappointment, and luckily we ordered only one potion of Tiramisu. It wasn't made properly with Mascarpone and contained strawberries. In general maybe a nice idea, but they have to tell us in advance. The last thing was the espresso, which arrived almost cold -and temperature is key for a perfect espresso. If you want to eat a very good pizza, it is the right place, but don't order anything else.

We were recommended by our hosts of the house we were renting in Maranola to grab some take out pizza's from L'oro di Napoli. We were chocked by the quality... the only sad thing was... this was our last night in Formia.

I come here wherever I am in Formia. Be prepared to wait to be served during peek hours (7-9 pm). Though they make a variety of different pizzas, my go to pizza is the margherita. Pizza here is not sold by the slice; You simply go up to the counter and tell them where to cut and they then weigh your selection. Yes, pizza is sold by weight here. The prices are reasonable and there is a patio on the side of the pizzeria where you can enjoy your pizza.
